| Watergate bay is well knows for its large beach which includes the Extreme sports Academy for those who enjoy surfing, kite-surfing and other extreme sports; or just watching and relaxing and maybe visiting the latest Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen Cornwall' restaurant. |

Mawgan porth is a smaller, cosier beach which is popular with families. This beach has recently been named amongst the top 20 World Hot Spots by a survey carried out by the Sunday Times and in fact came Sixth, and was described as being 'Shielded on both sides by cliffs, with acres of soft white sand, rock pools, caves and magical sunsets. The surf is ideal for beginners'. Apparently this beach came well above such glamorous destinations as St Maxime near St Tropez and Ile De Re on the West coast of France. |

Our 8 rooms include 2 family suites, 1 double en suite, 1 double and 1 single room with private bathroom on the ground floor. All rooms have TV, Radio, Tea/Coffee making facilities and hairdryers. The family rooms also have a small cooler to keep milk fresh. |

The lounge is comfortable and has a television, there is also a wide variety of DVDs and Videos for your entertainment and a good selection of books if you like a good read on holiday. |

| The dining room is pleasant and our breakfasts, according to our visitor's book, are enjoyed by all. Special diets can be catered for if we are advised in advance. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am but if you are leaving early or catching an early flight, Continental style meal can be left so that you do not depart hungry. |

Although we are conveniently close to Newquay Airport we are still in a quiet position. If you were thinking of flying down for a break and wish to hire a car, there are facilities at the airport to save you having to make the long and sometimes frustrating trip by road. We are now served by Air South West, BMI Baby, British Airways, Flybe, Ryanair and Skybus. |
