Very peaceful

Pros: Location was perfect for me. Cottage was very clean and cosy.

Cons: I didn’t realise I could have brought my dog, booking.com said I couldn’t.

Lovely cozy cottage

Pros: Lovely cottage! We would recommend Sloe cottage to everyone who likes a quiet place with a nice view. It's possible to go on walks directly from the doorstep. There are some nice pubs and cafés in the next town. It takes you 15-30 minutes to walk there. Really enjoyed the live music there! The hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Pros: Location is remote if no car but within 10 minutes of places to visit with a car. The cottage was clean and spacious and I arrived to a cream tea waiting and milk in the fridge.

Cons: The only thing was that the towels smelt slightly damp.

Pros: Everything was perfect, better than into the photos, a really nice and quiet place, with ocean view, very well positioned into the area, relative close to the turistic objectives, local pubs and shops, with friendly staff, very clean and well equiped with evrything you can need. Congratulation to Adam and Melanie, the owners of these facilities!

Pros: Good location peaceful and great views from the communal garden Excellent communication with hosts Lovely decor and comfy sofas Great kitchen Cream tea on arrival Amazing shower and wet room Walked to the Napoleon pub twice and a struggle walking uphill back but we did it twice anyway!

Cons: Having the boiler in the bedroom

Pros: beautiful cottage, perfect for a short break away, the cream tea waiting for us upon arrival was lovely too. the views from the garden were beautiful. Location great for exploring

Pros: We wanted a chill out space where we could cook properly away from the busy-ness of real life. It ticked every box for that, a really lovely cottage conversion. I still had to do some work (self employed!) and the wifi was perfect - though no phone signal at all for either of us, not unusual in rural parts of Cornwall. Definitely need a car! Which is clear in the listing and also when checking on google maps before arrival. Just a heads up that a 'proper' supermarket is around 25-30 minutes drive away, though plenty of mini-markets much closer than that. We'd definitely return.

Pros: The cottage was so well equipped. It had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy. The cream tea and milk that was left for us by the owners was a greatly welcomed touch. Bed was amazingly comfortable.

Cons: There was a few cobwebs but that's to be expected in the country.
