Comfortable and Homely Property

Pros: The property was well-located as a base for exploring the surrounding area. It had everything we needed and felt homely. The bed was comfortable and there was a portable radiator for an extra boost of heat just before bed. There was a Morrisons close by and plenty of choices for eating out or takeaways. Jason, the host, came to say hello when we arrived and kindly left milk in the fridge. There were leaflets in the property with useful information for places of interests and restaurants.

Cons: Nothing negative to report. The property is dog friendly and there is a faint smell animal owners will recognise, but there were plug-in air fresheners in each room

A little gem of comfort and cosiness

Pros: A little treasure in a quaint little hamlet but with easy access to Liskeard and beyond. The accomodation was cosy and comfortable and had all the conveniences you would expect in a hotel i.e. hairdrier, iron & ironing board,tea, coffee & milk etc. Jason - the owner, was very helpful and able to answer my text queries quickly and efficiently.We would highly recommend this accomodation and we ourselves will definitely make a return trip.

Comfortable and welcoming stay in mid-Cornwall

Pros: We’ve stayed at Robins Nest twice now and always very comfortable in this spacious annexe, in beautiful location near Bodmin moor and with convenient routes to explore Cornwall nearby. Great communications from the hosts too. Highly recommend

Great value for money!

Pros: Lots of space, very friendly hosts, everything you need is there.

Cons: It’s a little hard to find in the dark, so arrive when it’s light to make it easier.

Jason was an excellent host. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Nice and quiet. Also really comfortable, cozy and clean.

Relaxing and comfortable accommodation

Pros: Quiet area with a parking place just outside the property . Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable accommodation. Were left to our own devices which is what we like but we were aware we could get help if needed.

Cons: The bedroom was a little dusty ( my husband has a lung condition) but that may be me being over fussy

Pros: We loved the location for many reasons. For me mainly it was the star gazing as there was little to no light pollution at all which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable we had pretty much everything we needed. Jason was friendly and polite. We would absolutely stay again.

Cons: Could absolutely benefit from a bistro style table and chairs outside as there is nowhere to sit for morning coffee or even a glass of wine in the evening watching the stars.. No Washing machine

Pros: A delightful property situated only a stone’s throw away from Liskeard and other beautiful areas. Easy to travel and navigate to. The owner is lovely, giving us a warm welcome and milk for a cuppa on arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need to cook with plus some essentials like salt and pepper. The bathroom facilities are brilliant - an amazing shower. Everything is really well kept and clean. This property has everything you could wish for in a Cornish location - highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet stay in an idyllic area. Thank you!

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like about it!

10 day getaway

Pros: We liked the isolation of this apartment. The peace and quiet after a days sightseeing.

Cons: For us there was nothing to dislike

Perfect apartment on the edge of Bodmin Moor

Pros: Real homely feel, everything we needed was there, and all set in a stunning and convenient location. Chosen as it was a good central location for our visits to family in the area, but it was so much more than a room for a couple of nights, we really enjoyed the stay and would look to book again the next time we are on the area.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. The whole stay was perfect.
