Captain's Quarters 'As seen in Beyond Paradise '

Pros: Location, view, cleanliness, host, information, facilities.

I loved my stay in 'Captains Quarters' and appreciated the homely touch of a Christmas tree.

Pros: The location was right across from the station and bus stop with an easy walk into Looe centre which has a great range of shops, harbour, eating places and sandy beach, with very brave people of all ages going for a swimming at Xmas! Looe reminded me of childhood holidays and it was lovely not to be in a caravan or tent but in this cosy apartment which has everything as advertised. The views are stunning, watching the night stars, morning sunsets with the tide coming in and out was amazing!

Lovely Stay

Pros: Great hosts, very helpful and considerate. Great flat that was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Great views, quiet and fairly central to the town centre. Close to a great pub with fab food. Close to the looe valley train line.

Cons: Quite a steep road leading up to the property with a small slippery entrance.

We had a problem with our car and the hosts offered us help. Lovely location, right behind The Globe pub and short walk

Pros: Lovely views from the lounge and shared terrace. Smaller than I had imagined but everything you need. Bed very comfortable

Excellent, clean property in a great location!

Pros: Perfect location, a short walk into the shops and to the beach! EV charger was a bonus as well as having a parking space. We were able to park up earlier until the apartment was ready. The views and the decking area were also great. It had everything we needed for a weekend away

Cons: The roads are no joke! Follow the directions given by the host. Our sat nav took us down the roads they tell you not to attempt to get in and it aged me 😂 We stayed on the sofa bed and let our kids have the bed room. There were blinds throughout, curtains would’ve been a bonus to block out some of the light. There is also a bright green light on the ceiling in the living room which I’m sure is there for fire safety but not ideal when you are trying to sleep. Easily resolved with an eye mask but good to know if you plan to use the sofa bed!

Pros: Good location. It's a unique experience staying in a place with such a lovely host of accommodation. The parking is very convenient and even offers EV charging. The terrace boasts a lovely view, and at night it's beautifully lit with charming string lights.

A lovely stay!

Pros: Comfy bed, lovely hosts, great location, good kitchen and great to have a parking space! The view from the apartment is amazing.

Cons: Some facilities listed were not available such as a DVD player. But this did not detract from the stay.
