Pros: Really spacious, light and airy property with a large, extremely comfortable bed, with bedside tables and many powerpoints. There was also a sofa, TV, dining table and a chest of drawers for clothes. We didn't require a wardrobe, but there were a few hangers on the beams for our coats to dry out, after a particularly wet day. There was also a fridge (with a small freezer compartment), microwave, kettle and coffee machine and an assortment of cutlery and crockery. The property, accessible by a metal staircase, was quiet (nobody was staying in the adjacent room) and looked out over fields, one containing a friendly Shetland pony. There was free parking right by the accommodation, accessed down a farm track. We were well-located for days out including Bodmin Gaol, Bodmin Moor, Tintagel, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Port Isaac, the Camel Trail, Looe, Padstow and Polperro. Wadebridge itself has a number of cafés and restaurants and a beautiful old bridge river walk.
Cons: In February, despite the radiators in the main room, the bathroom was rather chilly. One of the blinds in the roof does not stay closed - in winter, this wasn’t a problem but in summer, it will allow light in, in the early morning, if you prefer a dark sleeping space.

Lovely barn stay, close to town, camel trail.
Pros: Spacious, comfy bed. A lady in the field shouted over to me on my arrival, welcoming me.
Cons: Flies, but that is expected on a place in the country with horses. Fridge noisy at night, I had to turn off. And you can hear people in the next barn through walls.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful part of the countryside.
Pros: Beautifully converted stable with lovely countryside surroundings. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The walls to the adjacent room are very thin and you can hear people using the bathroom and talking.

Lovely, quiet comfortable and a nice clean big space
Pros: The location was beautiful, very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Only spoke to the host on the phone but she seemed very nice and helpful
Cons: The steps and railings up to the property were a bit precarious, but we are not youngsters so maybe a little more aware of it

Perfect short stay close to the Camel trail
Pros: Beautiful location, spacious room, plenty of parking space. The room has everything you need for a stay, the hosts were great and made sure that we had an excellent stay. We were asked regularly if everything was fine or if we needed anything but it was via messages, so they left us space to enjoy ourselves without \
Cons: There's nothing really. A small cooking facility would be beneficial for longer stays (there is microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee machine etc but no stove or oven) but as the name suggests it is the old stable (and it is what gives extra charme) so it is probably not a straightforward or easy as it sounds. Give it a go and decide yourself! 🙂

A great base from which to explore all of Cornwall with ease of access.
Pros: A great base from which to explore Cornwall. Easy access to come and go when I wanted with a selection of accessories which allowed me to make my own breakfast and use the barn when I wanted to prepare or eat other meals. Lovely and warm. Great to have good space
Cons: Though it was great to have a fridge available, it was noisy at night, though I simply turned it off at night and back on again in the morning, so all was sorted.
