Great value for money in a traditional Cornish pub in a scenic location close to Truro.

Pros: Spacious room, comfortable, clean and warm. Good value Right by the A39 but little or no traffic noise at night. Slept well. Staff handled delay to checking in well offering complimentary tea/coffee. Good breakfast.

Pros: Friendly, warm welcome. Had a very traditional feel, the rooms were clean and modern and well stocked with tea, coffee and milk. Bed was comfortable and the room kept at a good temperature. Very quiet.

Cons: Not paying attention at the walk from the upper floor to the stairs to the exit I bumped my head a couple of times on the low ceiling beam. My own fault.
