Re-imagined Stone Barns in the Country Near the Coast

Peaceful, cosy and comfortable.

Pros: Beautiful little stone barn, The Cart Barn, well decorated and clean. Everything you need for a relaxing couple of nights. The owners were lovely, helpful and kind and left a very welcome little gift basket for our arrival. We were surprised by Peacocks living in the farm next door, not a sight I was expecting in Cornwall!! Lovely to see such beautiful birds. The area is very quiet at night and you can relax outside with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. 10 minutes drive from Padstow and about 1 hour from St Yves. Amazing countryside and beaches!!

Cons: Nothing. Everything was lovely. The bed may be a little soft, but that is a matter of taste (or in my case, my back)

Loved the country feel and quiet location.

Pros: The location was quiet and centrally situated for exploring Cornwall. The apartment was well played out and spacious. The undercover off street parking is a bonus.

Pros: Everything you needed to have a fabulous break. A real home from home. Spotlessly clean and super comfortable.

Cons: Nothing I didn’t like and will definitely be back for a visit.

A very enjoyable few nights away, ideal as a base for visiting Padstow and local beaches.

Pros: Brilliant place to stay for visiting Padstow and Wadebridge and the surrounding area. The room, facilities and parking were perfect. Wish I had stayed longer!

Cons: Wifi connection to my phone was temperamental at times. It's a minor thing for me, all other devices connected fine and I realised after a while that the connection to my phone seemed to be better when switching off mobile signal.

Pros: We very much enjoyed our stay, lovely location, everything that we needed was there, very comfortable bed and soft fluffy towels! The hosts we're very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us in a difficult situation which we were very thankful for.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful part of the country, rural, yet access to nearby towns. Great hosts.

Pros: The Stone Barns are in a very rural and quiet location, but within easy distance of Newquay, Wadebridge and Padstow in particular. The property is very well equipped with just about everything you need to self cater, and has 2 large sofas in the lounge area and a firestick for all your tv requirements. There is a log burner which we didn't use as it's summer, but the radiators do work well. The bedroom is cosy and the large double bed very comfortable with good quality linen. The bathroom has good lighting, and a shower over the bath which works well. Our hosts, Mary and Mark, were on hand to welcome us and avaialble in the house next door if we needed anything. They had very thoughtfully left us some alcohol and snacks. We enjoyed our stay in the barns and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. Thank you.

Cons: Nothing specific, although the taps in the bathroom are interestingly fitted!

Pros: The hosts were really lovely . Outdoor areas were great - thoughtfully provided so that you could have sun at any point of the day . Inside carefully thought out and really high quality.
