Kallowen Cottage at Crackington Haven

Wonderful

Pros: This would be a lovely stay for the whole family and their pet as it’s got space for 4 and plenty living and kitchen space… but the best bit is the greenery, surrounded by nature walks and peace.

Cons: Good instructions provided but I would say donate near the entrance as to location of each cottage would be helpful specially if your arriving in the dark, but this is only a minor detail.

Crackington Haven

Pros: - The views were stunning, very peaceful and tranquil

Cons: There was nothing I disliked the only minor problem I had was that I couldn't make the electric shower work. Thankfully there was a bath so easily overcome.

What a gem !

Pros: What a wonderful gem of a place surrounded by forests and streams. Several cottages align, yet you have your own picturesque privacy. Fully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The grounds surrounding the cottage are well maintained. The bed was so comfortable and the whole place was so clean with adequate heating if needed. There is quite a steep hill down to the cottages, but it wasn't anywhere near as steep as we remembered on the way back up so don't worry about this too much. We only wish we could have stayed longer to explore. We hope to be back.

Cons: I really cannot fault the place or the hosts. I just wished that we could have checked out at 11 being a Sunday rather than 10am but that's a minor in the grand scheme of things.

Pros: The cottage was very clean . The bed was very comfortable. Lovely quiet location.

Top quality secluded hideaway

Pros: Very easy. Our lovely hosts knew we would be tired after a day of walking so let us know where to find the key without having to walk all the way up to reception.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Clean cottage. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Comfy lounge and beds. It was as expected and very nice. Owners very accommodating.

Cons: Mirrors need a clean.

Pros: Privacy, quite, close to nature! There was everything we needed.

Perfect location, beautiful property, the owners were friendly.

Pros: It is a beautiful location with a lovely walk to the beach. The property was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for our stay.

Cons: The road down to the property is scary, it is very narrow and windy, we were almost taken out by a bus. The walk to the beach is quite a distance, and is through the woods so have roots in the path. It is definitely not for someone with mobility issues.

Tranquility and nature retreat close to the sea side

Pros: Fantastic location if you’re after a peaceful retreat away from crowds, lovely woodland walk to the sea side or 5min drive. Highly recommended
