Shackled-Am-Not - Luxury home sleeps 8 with hot tub and games room North Cornwall

Super house in good location for North Cornwall, ideal for families and groups.

Pros: The property is a fantastic size with plenty of space for everyone. We were a group of two families and everyone was housed with ease and plenty of places to sit and relax without being on top of one another. The games room is a great place to hang out, especially as it has the Sky TV connected too. The garden is a lovely size as are all the bedrooms. The boot room off the entrance hall was also handy especially after beach days. We had to contact the owners and they responded immediately and all was resolved without issue. It is a great location for seeing North Cornwall with Bude, Tintagel, Trebarwith, Port Isaac, Padstow and Newquay all within the hour. Overall we would recommend although note the price has risen considerably since we booked our holiday.

Cons: No instructions for the various gadgets so a lot of googling and YouTube video tutorials required! Hot tub was great for the first half of the week but needs additional treatment if to be used for the whole week. No instructions required refuse collection so we had weeks worth of recycling and rubbish by the garage. There are no pavements so walking to and from the local town is not advisable as the roads have fast travelling vehicles on them.

House was amazing, staff was informative and on hand when required. Would definitely stay again.

We had an enjoyable and memorable stay and everyone felt it really well set up.

Pros: The house was well thought out for large groups of up to eight adults. It was very helpful to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The games room and gym equipment were a welcome addition. The welcome package on arrival was most generous.

Cons: My only suggestion would be to have two single beds in one of the bedrooms or have a double that could separated if requested.

Excellent property

Pros: The house was perfect for our stay. All the bedrooms were a lovely size with plenty of storage. The kitchen was well equipped. The house was in an excellent location for exploring Cornwall.

Pros: Everything, lots of space and full of tech. Great games room that was a haven for our kids. Everything you need for a self catering holiday.

Lovely spacious property, well equipped and maintained.

Pros: Generally an excellent experience in a well equipped and maintained property. Games room was fantastic, not expected and didn't have chance to use. This time!

Cons: Shower floors were slippery and had no anti-slip mats. More observations and suggestions than criticisms: * almost too many electronic gizmos and controls. Took us a day to realise where the microwave was. * almost too much room in the bedrooms. The bedrooms could do with a couple of (dining-room style) chairs and bed-side tables. A couple of them are large enough to have a couple of lounge chairs to create a semi-sitting room section of the room. * sink in the second bedroom very small - hardly even a hand basin.

Book it...you wont regret it

Pros: The space...games room, garden, location were all perfect. Would definitely recommend and we would love to return. There were 7 of us and we had loads of space. The welcome pack is a lovely touch and much appreciated.

Cons: The garage (which contains the gym equipment) really needs a good clean. Cobwebs and clutter everywhere

Pros: We had an amazing stay, luxury spacious high spec house. Awesome games room! The property was fresh, clean and lovely. Would be great for any guests staying here to treat it and look after it well, as it’s such a stunning house.

Fantastic venue and facilities that simply wowed each and every one of our group.

Pros: Stunning property. So much space in every room with excellent facilities including a Games room. Very prompt and efficient responses to any questions. Loved the welcome pack that we were given on arrival. All in all - a perfect experience.
