The perfect remote working retreat with sea views and a dog-friendly beach on your doorstep.
Pros: I had a very relaxing stay at this lovely little retreat in Downderry. Spotlessly clean, beautifully warm and wonderfully quiet — exactly what I needed. You can hear the waves crashing all day and all night, which is amazing. If you work online, this is a great spot — the internet is fast and you can't beat working with a view of the sea. The kitchen had everything I could ask for, the on-site laundry was a real bonus, and the management and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The beach is literally a few minutes' walk away — ideal for morning walks with the dog. And when hunger strikes, the Smugglers Inn at Seaton serves up proper hearty pub grub. But honestly, it's the views that steal the show. Sitting in the living room or waking up in the bedroom to that sea view — absolutely brilliant. A perfect coastal escape. I'm already planning my next visit.
Cons: Nothing. I'll be back.

A spotless, cosy bolthole by the beach and the pub with the most incredible sea views
Pros: My dog and I had a wonderful stay at this cosy, warm and incredibly quiet retreat. The accommodation was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The pet-friendly policy was a huge bonus, and having on-site laundry facilities made everything perfect. The management and staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The beach is just a few minutes' walk and perfect for dog walking. The local pub is right there for a beef stew and dumplings on a fresh morning. But the absolute highlight? The sea views. Waking up to that breathtaking vista from the bedroom, then enjoying it again from the sitting room — simply amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended! I'll be back.
Cons: Nothing.

Beautiful place, cant wait to go back
Pros: Location was amazing, you could hear the waves from the apartment and the view was beautiful. The bed was more comfy than our own we didnt want to leave.
Cons: We arrived after it had gotten dark, and finding our way around in the car was difficult. We couldn't see the car park direction sign so it would be beneficial for that to be lit up. Reflective markers along the walls would also be quite useful.

A beautiful view.
Pros: A lovely, well equipped apartment. Warm and cosy even with the heating turned off. A fantastic view of the sea and beach.
Cons: Noise from apartment above (luckily only occupied on our first morning). Dog mess in the car park.

Lovely to relax.
Pros: Amazing view over the beach, even when it was raining it was lovely and relaxing to be there. Apartment was well stocked. The owners were very welcoming, considerate, clearly enjoy what they do. It's a great place to either go and do nothing for a few days, or go out and explore neighbouring towns.
Cons: The local area was ok, the pub and cafe were good. The nearest shop is a 15min drive, local supermarket is a 25min drive. Amazing fish and chip shop about 15 mins drive.

Lovely budget stay by the sea
Pros: Lovely little apartment with a beautiful sea view right above the beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked for self-catering. Great value for a week. We'd definitely stay again.
Cons: The communal areas were a little shabby and in need of a little TLC
