Fowey

Pros: Lovely cottage, great for what we needed to explore Fowey.

Pleasant enough but above issues a deterrent to repeat stay

Pros: well equipped, apart from oven gloves. nice garden but bad weather precluded use.

Cons: Parking was scary. in front off cottage off road but, very difficult to exit due to sharp bend on road nearby. Road noisy at times and traffic too fast. Surrouding area didnt match image of cottage.

Wonderful

Pros: The cottage was very clean, the bed comfy and we loved sitting in the garden behind the house. It is very convenient for visiting Fowey and the surrounding area. We can highly recommend it!

Cons: It was a bit tricky getting back on the road from the parking in front of the house

Perfect weekend GetAway

Pros: Property was clean , specious and quiet with good access to Fowey 15 minutes walk

Pros: The cottage was very clean with modern well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Peaceful area, but easy walk to town (around 1 mile). Beautiful private back garden with fruit trees. Comfortable beds, our 10 year old loved the bunk beds!

Pros: The cottage felt like home away from home. Very cosy and welcoming.

Quiet, lovely cottage

Pros: Lovely little cottage, has everything you could need, a home from home. Clean and well presented. Ideal for our family of 3. Situated in a quiet spot just outside of town but close enough to walk. Great communication from the owner.

Pros: The cottage was very cute and we enjoyed our stay there but mind your head if you are over 6 foot tall. It was good value for money and not that far to the centre of Fowey, about a 30 min walk of 4 mins by bus.

Funktionales Cottage

Pros: Die Küche war modern, schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das sehr kleine Bad im Obergeschoss war sehr neu und modern gestaltet. Das Ein- und Aus- checken funktionierte sehr gut- der Kontakt zur Eigentümerin war auch sehr gut. Es gab hinter dem Haus eine Terrasse mit Grill, die wir jedoch mangels Sonne nicht benutzt haben.

Cons: Das Wohnzimmer war leider ziemlich dunkel, ohne Charakter und es fehlte ein kleiner Tisch um Getränke u.ä. abzustellen, ich fand es nicht gemütlich. Große Menschen ( 180 cm) laufen immer leicht gebückt, da es einige Türzargen und Schrägen gibt, die für ein Cottage normal sind, aber für mich erdrückend wirkten. Das Schlafzimmer geht zur Straßenseite raus und mit geöffnetem Fenster hört man die Auto sehr laut. Den Parkplatz schräg vor dem Haus kann man nur sicher nutzen, wenn ein Beifahrer den Verkehr regelt und ggf. stoppt, da das Cottage in einer langgezogenen Kurve liegt, wo man die Autos aus beiden Richtungen kommend, nur schwer bzw. gar nicht sehen kann.
