it was a very good stay for us as a Family of four, we really enjoyed it; we will come back :)
Pros: the cottagey feel, the good communication from the host, the well-equipped kitchen :), the estuary view, the back garden... the list can continue...
Cons: no blinds at the bathroom upstairs, which meant potentially that privacy could have been an issue, especially at evening time; also, the garden room has a very small radiator, well undersized for the size of the room, which may also explain the mouldy-smell there and the need of a dehumidifier, present in that room...

Truly paradise indeed
Pros: Truly paradise indeed. Cottage was exceptionally equipped, beds really comfy. Great location for us. We were a family of 4 plus dog. Garden was amazing, sun terrace overlooking river fab. I could go on. Needless to say highly recommend and hope to rebook.
Cons: Got a bit lost when arriving, so slightly better directions would be helpful as no WiFi in the village but really a non-issue.

A little bit of peace and paradise!
Pros: A truly Paradise Stay! A quiet unspoilt part of Cornwall. The location was 5 minutes from the main routes to St Austell and Bodmin. Fowey is 4 miles away. The cottage is a cosy Cornwall experience. A modern kitchen and bathroom, with the benefit of a separate downstairs toilet. Clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The upper patio was lovely for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Excellent value for money for 5 of us. Suggestions for days out that are less than 1 hour away. Cawsand/ St Anthony House/ Torpoint to Plymouth ferry. Polperro and Looe. Fowey and ferry to mevagissey. I am a very experienced booking.com traveller. This was a wonderful stay for 5 days, we would have liked to change our plans and stayed longer.
Cons: Book dinner in advance at the pub!

Pros: The garden is wild but beautiful, the view is wonderful we ate breakfast out there every day. It is so peaceful, and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, the locals are really friendly and it's just a lovely quirky cottage with a calming feel.
Cons: The area is quite isolated, so we did quite a lot of driving, but we would definitely stay there again.

A peaceful home away from home, a perfect base for exploring and cosying up after a long day.
Pros: Lovely quiet and cosy cottage in idyllic location. Comfy bed and clean towels, well stocked kitchen (thank you for the delicious wine and biscuits!) and amazing garden with beautiful views. Location was perfect for exploring wider area, and loved having an easy evening stroll to the friendly local pub after a long day of hikes and exploring.
Cons: Nothing, it had everything we needed.

Peaceful haven on the estuary
Pros: Having fresh milk in the fridge, some Cornish biscuits, and a bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We loved the view, the birdsong in the garden, the higgledy-piggledy old cottage without a straight line anywhere, the vast number of owl related items everywhere, and the peaceful village location next to the Fowey. 3 double rooms was great. A slightly hair-raising narrow lane into the village, but a great pub and handy play area for the kids. Great crabbing from the quayside.
Cons: Slightly clearer directions as to location of cottage before arrival as the postcode must be for the whole village and SatNav gave up!

A relaxing, enjoyable stay and when the sun came out, the decking was beautiful to sunbathe on with wonderful views
Pros: We liked this quirky, sweet cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful garden. It’s in a very quiet area with great views from the upper floor and garden area, of the river. It is in a good location within 15 mins of Fowey. The local pub was friendly as were the neighbours.
Cons: Nothing we didn’t like. It was just the two of us so easy to be in this style of house. The rooms upstairs linked so you will walk through each other’s room but it didn’t bother us. The lounge is very small and will only sit 4 but the idea is to be outside enjoying the areas. We liked the cozy feel.
