Great week, loads of memories and a great place to get away from it all.

Pros: Well catered property. Very clean. Great location. Enjoyed the village band on Wednesday.

Cons: Needed another lamp in the sitting room just to get the right lighting. A table or something to put items on in the bedrooms would be useful. Same for the bathrooms a shelf so items don’t roll off. Building work next door wasn’t brilliant.

Pros: Location was perfect for walking the coast path around the Lizard Peninsula. There was lots to do and explore in the area. Gweek was an excellent base. The property was very spacious, beds were very comfortable, the grounds were beautifully kept.

Cons: The property was very cold on arrival, due to the unseasonable weather. It also smelt musty, perhaps due to not having been in use the previous week. It would have been good to have been able to put some heating on for a couple of hours on the first two days. It was also especially difficult to dry towels as the heated towel rails didn't come on. Once the weather warmed up everything was fine however. More toilet rolls were needed.

Pros: Die Lage. Der kleine, charmante Ort Gweek (mit kleinem Supermarkt, der gut und mit nachhaltigen Waren bestückt ist, sowie ausgezeichneter Gastronomie-Black Swan) ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für phantastische und in kurzen Entfernungen zu erreichenden Sehenswürdigkeiten (Lizard Point/Keynance Cove/Poldhu/Falmouth/Trebah Garden/Penzance)

Cons: Nicht gefallen hat uns die Abwicklung der Reklamation über Final Retreat/Booking.com, die aufgrund fehlendem Erhalt des Key Codes für den Hauszugang sehr schwierig war. Letztendlich aber doch zu einem positiven Abschluss gekommen ist.
