Lovely setting for a relaxing family holiday

Pros: Location excellent , quiet but central . Saw 2 people who were great , neither the owner but that was no problem.The animal feeding and tractor rides really lovely , so much fun, used the field to play football , on wet days they enjoyed the games room too. Cottage well equipped in the kitchen living room etc .we thought easy to locate . Owners responded fast , although they were extremely busy . Would stay again definitely

Cons: Probably more personal choice but my double bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the camp bed was noisy and not st all Comfortable, but we Did away with that and managed well.

Good location close to Looe and Polperro. Had the best weather so a lovely holiday was had by all.

Pros: A farm location which the kids loved, they enjoyed a pony ride, tractor rides and held the guinea pigs. Nice large cottage.

Cons: The living room smelt strongly of soot from the log burner. The floorboards upstairs were so noisy and the only WC was upstairs. With young children you needed to tread very carefully up there once they were asleep so as not to wake them up.

Excellent place for a family holiday with Looe and Polperro very close by.

Pros: Beautiful, quiet location. The people we met were lovely. A great place to go with kids. Couldn’t fault it.

Cons: The couch could have been a bit more comfy but that’s a very minor issue.

A charming, comfortable property set in a fabulous location!

Pros: A really charming property that was very comfortable and well equipped for our stay. Lovely main living area and good size bedrooms. Plenty of parking available and thought the outside play area and animals to see were great (kept my niece entertained for a good few hours!).

Cons: A little tired in the bathrooms and more useable enclosed outside space would have been great. Loved the idea of the play room which we used however noticed some mice droppings!

Value for money but don’t expect any luxuary.

Pros: Good location , very safe if you have small children.

Cons: Needed updating. Door to front and back had huge gaps that you could see daylight . Desperately in need of new doors. Quality of mattresses very poor. Very uncomfortable night sleep. Did not see any staff from arrival to departure.

Perfect family getaway, so wholesome!

Pros: It was so cute and cosy, lovely view, ideal location. We had such a wonderful time.

Pros: We’ve just returned home from a lovely few days at Polean Farm Cottages. My daughters had so much fun, they were so sad to leave the Guinea pigs and would love to visit again! 🥰 I asked to book an out of season animal feeding session and the lady who I messaged was so helpful and friendly. We met with Simon for this session and he was very friendly and patient with us. We collected some fresh eggs for breakfast too and they were delicious! Thank you very much, we will be returning again ☺️

Pros: Lovely location, swimming pool the staff were so friendly.

Cons: It was out of season, animals were not out.

Peaceful quiet time to enjoy yourself and the beauty of nature.

Pros: We have stayed in the Mealhouse. The nicest little cottage! Exceptional cleanliness, perfect location, lovely staff, unforgettable experience with the farm animals. So peaceful and quiet. It was lovely to see horses walking just outside the window. Easy to locate the farm. Swimming pool 7minutes away. Beach 10minutes drive. Enjoyed every second of our stay and definitely will come back again. 5*
