Enys Boathouse

The coziest place ever

Pros: The boathouse is so cozy, that we felt like home instantly. It’s equipped with everything you need and it’s in a great location, not far from every spot we wanted to visit. The communication with the host was excellent. The initial information provided was so detailed that we didn’t have any problems finding our way around.

Pros: Location was excellent and the boathouse had everything you needed.

Cons: Nothing. My mother had a very small issue with the bed, but this was to do with her/her age and not the property.

Pros: Lovely place to stay. Quirky, functional and very well appointed. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to revisit.

Cons: Nothing, really. Only a 11am check out instead of 10 am as standard would have been better. Especially if you're staying with children ;)

Pros: The boat is very cute, well equipped and the garden was really nice, especially in the morning and late afternoon sun ! Good location. Nice size bathroom spacious living room, lovely dinning / breakfast area !

Cons: Unfortunately, the beds for us were really uncomfortable personal preference too soft. and I ended up sleeping on the floor with my yoga mat, a duvet, a blanket, and my daughter on the sofa with a duvet. My husband was able to climb up to the loft area, but it was really stuffy and hot, so he took the fan up with him . There are no pictures of the loft ladder, and it was extremely small with uncomfortable metal steps ( more suitable small adventurous children, not 6 ft adults unless they are small and nimble. A thick wooden one would have been perfect ! We would have preferred a basic coffee machine and buy the pods ourselves rather than an airfryer . Really disappointed as it said distance sea views not coming from cornwall and not knowing the area, we realized this was probably a joke reference to it being a boat house as the sea is about 10 miles away even if you walk round the village !! The driveway is a bit tricky. Make sure you have a strong handbrake!
