Lovely home in a perfect location.

Pros: Perfect location overlooking the Port Gaverne harbour and a short walk to Port Isaac. Lovely and quiet. We found the bedrooms comfortable with two upstairs and one down. Both bathrooms are upstairs. There is parking for one car. We had a lovely week here and would definitely recommend The Rockies. Cornish Rock Tors operate from Port Gaverne, just a short walk down the hill, and our favourite outdoor experience in Cornwall was their guided Sea Kayak tour.

Cons: Some of the curtains need a little attention and an outside clothes line would be helpful for sunny days.

Super Urlaub - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Pros: Für unsere Bedürfnisse (Familie mit Hund) super Lage, direkt an einem kleinen Strand und an ausgedehnten Wanderwegen entlang der atemberaubend schönen Steilküste. Sehr gutes Restaurant direkt um die Ecke, auch super für ein kühles Bier in der Sonne mit Blick auf den Strand. Port Isaac zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar mit netten Lokalen, Pubs und schönen kleinen Geschäften. Das Haus hatte alles, was wir brauchten, für unseren Geschmack sehr schön eingerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Zwei Wohnbereiche (einer unten, einer oben) mit jeweils einem Fernseher. Sehr schöne neue Badezimmer, davon eins innenliegend und recht klein, aber mit geräumiger Dusche. Das andere an ein Schlafzimmer angeschlossen mit Fenster und Badewanne. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden, ebenso eine Spülmaschine. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!

Cons: Eigentlich nichts. Es könnte vielleicht noch ein Wäscheständer zum Trocknen ergänzt werden (wir haben unsere Kleidung über sämtliche Heizungen verteilt - geht auch…)
