Lovely little hut! Was perfect to visit all the local attractions nearby. Very quite and secluded.

Pros: The little kitchen had everything you needed to cook some simple meals and breakfasts. The area was super quiet and well kept. Great links to the A30 and Redruth for shops, attractions, beaches etc.

great value for money!

Pros: The host has been very responsive and answered my queries swiftly, she allowed me to check in earlier and overall I had very pleasant time staying at Rose.

Cons: the only thing which was a little annoying, was being close to the main road and could hear all the passing cars going through road at the national speed limit 60mph.

A charming base to explore Cornwall

Pros: Rose is an adorable shepherd's hut nestled in a well maintained garden within a farm. The attention to detail in its furnishings makes it a cozy haven. The hut is extremely well appointed despite its compact size. The bed is very comfortable and I have to say I slept really well during my stay. And what better way to explore Cornwall than from such a charming base. Even though April weather may not have been ideal for outdoor eating, the picnic table provided outside definitely adds to the experience. The host communication after booking was prompt and detailed and the check-in process hassle-free. Rose definitely offers a blend of comfort, convenience and countryside charm for a delightful getaway.

Cons: The proximity to a busy road might detract from the tranquility, especially during peak tourist season when the area bustles with activity. The offer of a fob key to exit the main gate (car sensor activated) on foot was offered but unfortunately never materialised. Additionally, suggestions for amenities such as a hairdryer in the bathroom and a blind for the door glass panel to aid with undisturbed mornings would enhance the comfort of future guests and elevate the experience.
