We had a lovely week in Cornwall staying in a very beautiful cottage.

Pros: The cottage was beautiful, and the area was quiet. Very thoughtful hosts had left bread, scones, cream, and cheese, butter and eggs. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was everything included in the facilities and furnishings to make it feel like home. Lovely sitting in the garden listening to the birds.

Cons: Unfortunately, we were plagued by a swarm of flying ants in the wet room, 2 days running, which was very disconcerting in the middle of the night when using the facilities. I subsequently found ant powder under the kitchen sink which helped. The deep settee is uncomfortable for anyone with short legs, and the TV was not tuned into Freeview, except for BBC1, 2, 3 & 4. A little bit of advice - sorry! the self sown ash tree in the garden opposite the front door should be removed before becoming a problem.

Werkelijk een heerlijk mooie ruime cottage op een schitterend landgoed

Pros: Werkelijk een heerlijk mooie ruime cottage op een schitterend landgoed. De eigenaren zijn zeer sympathiek en gastvrij. De twee aparte slaapkamers met badkamer en suite ieder gelegen aan het uiteinde van de cottage maken dat je echt privacy hebt. Ideaal als je oudere kinderen hebt. De bedden slapen heerlijk en ook de bank en stoelen zitten goed. Je voelt je direct thuis. De cottage ligt aan een grote binnenplaats maar geeft ruim voldoende privacy. Het heeft een afgesloten tuin, vond onze hond heerlijk en een afgezonderd deel dient als heerlijke plek om buiten te eten en te BBQ'en. Op het landgoed kun je ook heerlijk wandelen. Hou je van oude exclusieve auto's dan ben je hier ook aan het juiste adres aangezien de 2 broers naast het runnen van het landgoed en de cottages handelen in deze auto's.
