Great bolt hole in a super part of Cornwall!

Pros: Tasteful decor, quiet location, close to SW Coast Path and 10 mins walk to the beach. Comfortable beds and great outside space for evening dining. Great places to eat out nearby, pizzas down at the beachfront and pasties from the bakery highly recommended. Kids and dogs had a great time!

Cons: We found the accommodation to be a bit too warm on arrival, but that's personal preference and we did visit during a warm, wet spell in winter.

Cons: Surprised to find washing machine was on, when we arrived with bedding on a wash cycle.. Not a big issue at all, but we removed it, dried it and folded it. I would also advise anyone leaving the premises in the dark to take care with the tall wooden gate at the side of the property. Access to the property is through this gate to the back door. Coming out the gate opens towards you and has a large metal latch at eye level that slammed into my face. My fault i suppose but couldn't see it as it was dark.

Unique little.gem

Pros: Quiet, private, secure. A unique little gem. Loved this place in walking distance from the beach and shops. Would highly recommend.

Cons: A hoover to clean up after being at the beach would be great 👍 and a clothes horse to hang up washing on wet days would be super handy for families.

Chilled vibes close to the beach!

Pros: Great location 10 minutes walk to the village or 10 minutes to the beach. Lovely little back garden to sit out in. Well equipped kitchen, washing machine too. Basic but comfortable furnishings… smart tv :-) We really enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Cons: We struggled with unlocking the door but the owner was in touch via what’s app.. and eventually we got the knack! Everything else was great!

A great break, close to the village. Good facilities, so no need to go out at night.

Pros: The home was spacious, with a well equiped kitchen and comfy sofas. The bed was OK, but the mattress was a little soft for me. Heating was fine and it was warm and cosy - important when you are on a walking trip. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. Importantly, the washing machine had a drying facility, essential when you are walking the coast path in february!

Cons: For me, every thing was fine, but if I was with a friend, the bathroom position, being in the master bedroom, may be a problem.
