Rosies Retreat

Pros: Rosie’s Retreat in St Ives is a lovely granite cottage with 2 upstairs bedrooms. We did arrange for early check-in which was appreciated . It is centrally located near a supermarket and metres from the water. A short walk leads you to restaurants, main beaches and through the quaint, narrow streets to shops, cafes and various galleries. It is located at the beginning of a lovely walk to Carbis Bay. There is a great deal of pedestrian traffic go past the apartment however it is surprisingly quiet inside. Dishwashing and clothes washing tablets were supplied.

Cons: Unfortunately and surprisingly for tourists, no essential supplies are provided, including tea bags, coffee, shower soaps, shampoo and conditioner.

Comfortable stay in a brilliant location with everything you needed. A fantastic stay

Pros: Location was great, had everything that you needed and more

Cons: Mattress was a little soft for me, but that’s personal preference

Pros: The cottage is a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 2-minute from the bus station. You are a 5-minute walk from the beach and all the shops and restaurants on the sea shore. It was perfect for our 5 day stay. It is spacious and clean and has everything you need for a lengthy stay, but it is also suitable for a short vacation.

Great stay punctuated by a hard few hours running the Arc of Attrition!

Pros: Lovely house which is very well equipped and in a great location!

Cons: der Trockner hat leider nicht funktioniert trotz geringer Beladung; die Wäsche ist fast feuchter wieder herausgekommen und auch leicht muffelig riechend; sonst alles super;
