Good value for money lovely house

Pros: Great space for a family, good range of equipment and comfortable bedrooms. Good location for local shops. Good communication with hiring company when small probl we ms arose.

Cons: Parking a bit difficult if you have more than 1 car, we had 3., garage too small for any of our cars to go in we did manage to find parking elsewhere when we stayed (Feb) but not by the house I can imagine its a nightmare in a summer.

Pros: Large, comfortable house well located for the town and its facilities. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and equiped. Heating was adequate and suited our needs.

Cons: On the first night we used the wood burner after about 2 or so hours the carbon-monoxide alarm went off. We evacuated the room and opened windows etc. No injuries. We tried it again the next night with no problems and again every other night. We did leave the window near the fire open a crack for ventilation. No further problems. We feel that the burner needs a service perhaps to confirm it is safe! We have used a range of wood burners in the past with no problems. We were happy with the amount of glasses, crockery and glasswear but some items were not clean, almost as if no washing after use.

Overall the property if great for a family in an excellent location in st merryn village

Pros: The location is fantastic and the size is great for a family get together

Cons: Some of the furnishing seemed tired and require replacing/professional cleaning. No wardrobes in 3 of the bedrooms , no wine bottle opener, some pans and utensils require replacing
