Unique coastal detached property

A beautiful stay for the warmer months

Pros: The property is in an amazing location with a lovely garden and beautiful views. It is very quirky. It also has a well stocked kitchen. A lovely place to stay but I’d say this is more of a place for the summer/warmer months.

Cons: We found the property a touch difficult to heat which in December is a bit of a problem. We managed to heat one area with the fan/electric heaters but the log burn which is supposed to heat all the radiators, only heats one in the entrance and the others remain cold. The log burner needs lots of kindling/ logs to get going but when we did have it going all evening, the radiators remained cold. I wouldn’t let this put you off as it’s a great property, quirky and stunning views!

Pros: Absolutely adored the uniqueness and how quiet it was! The personal welcome touch was lovely (and delicious!) Mike was very quick at responding to any enquiries and made us feel more than welcome and left information booklets for nearby attractions as well. Would definitely stay here again

Perfect Cornish Beach Retreat

Pros: Dog friendly, secluded yet close to the beach. Fab outside space. Relaxing and quirky. Views. Facilities. Easy to get to. Parking.

Cons: Garden not fully secure so need to tie dogs up to prevent escaping. Needs outdoor furniture and sun loungers :)

Pros: Walks from the door were great for dogs , beautiful views ,house was spacious and had absolutely everything we needed .

Cons: Nothing it was perfect

Great peoperty in an excellent location

Pros: Walking distance from the local shop, super beach and lovely pub selling excellent food. Beautiful views down to the beach. Very comfortable living room and well equipped kitchen.

Cons: During high winds, there was a tapping noise coming from the roof. This requires attention as kept my husband and I awake all night.

Pros: beautiful garden. sea and cliff view. Well equipped cottage

Cons: in some places the house has a very low ceiling. People who are over 180 cm tall may have problems

Good location near porthtowan beach

Pros: Quirky and near the beach. The host was quick to respond to any messages and friendly & helpful: he resolved any issues quickly. Had everything we needed. A parking spot was a real bonus. Quiet location and near to other places to visit.

Cons: Not a huge fan of the shower room and curtain wire between the kitchen and bedroom. Not private for a family or if 2 couples stayed. It’s definitely not a place to stay if you’re tall. Or even if you’re not - there’s a fair bit of ducking down in the lounge area. That said - it all adds to its character.

Very peaceful and perfect location - stunning views

Pros: Very cosy space with everything you needed. Beautiful views from the balcony. We would definitely return.

Cons: It gets very warm very easily but with doors open there’s a nice breeze that can flow though the home.

Loved our stay and will hopefully be back some time.

Pros: Quirky, good facilities, comfortable and good location for us for walking, etc. Pet friendly which is a big plus.

Cons: Local pub has limited opening hours out of season but not a big deal as long as you know. Low ceilings add to quirkiness but if you’re tall (we are not) could be irritating.
