Field Hut

Amazing!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in the Shepherd’s Hut – the atmosphere was absolutely perfect, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for. Being off-grid made it feel extra special, giving us the chance to properly switch off and enjoy the surroundings. The hut itself was cozy, comfortable, and full of charm. Jeremy was incredibly helpful and generous, going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality really added to the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway.

Enjoyed our weekend in quiet corner of a field with lovely views and everything we needed

Pros: Location perfect for event we were visiting. Was expecting basic, but fluffy white towels and bedding, everything we needed was there. Quiet, private situation with lovely views over the fields and great outdoor space with picnic table, seats and barbecue. Enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Pros: Quiet. Secluded. Quite a lot of space for a hut. Fantastic location for our adventures eg Tintagel Port Isaac Polzeath etc. sheep in the next field said hello every morning.

Pros: We love the tranquility of the surrounding area....the sheep in the neighbouring field, watching the sun rise in the morning and being mesmerized by the stars at night

Fantastic stay, great value & perfect views!

Pros: Really well thought out and cute, with lots of lovely details like the sofa overlooking the view and facilities to cook outside. I liked being next to the sheep and it felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. The bed was incredibly comfy and it was a great location.

Cons: I found the outside toilet a little ‘icky’ to use. It’s a great concept and I do appreciate it being eco friendly, but it’s not for me! Especially if I needed the bathroom in the middle of the night! The shower was also quite small and so taller people may find it difficult.

Peaceful, environmentally friendly stay in lovely surroundings

Pros: Shepherds Hut was beautifully set up with its own private garden at the edge of a field. Really peaceful. Separate kitchen and bathroom with good shower. Nb this property is ‘off grid’ so don’t expect electricity and there is a well maintained compost toilet. Owner nearby and helpful when contacted by text.

Cons: There are 2 separate properties, a shepherds hut where we stayed and a Field Hut. However Booking.com jumbles these together on the listing and so we initially went to the wrong property.

Pros: A great place to stay for my purpose. Lovely and quiet, off the beaten track. Rustic and rural but with consideration given to the needs of the guest.

Cons: A microwave oven would have been good but not essential.

Fantastic rural hut

Pros: A super adorable and cosy place to stay! Nestled in a farm, surrounded by fields and secluded with its own garden, it was the perfect little retreat! Even though it was off grid, we had everything we needed and it was a great excuse to switch off from life properly while there :) I did have some work to do, but this was a great excuse to go to the St Kew Farm Shop and Cafe, which is a short walk away (no pavements but really not far), who were also very friendly and accommodating, with WiFi connection, great food and so many lovely dogs visiting! Everything was spotlessly clean, the furnishings are beautiful, there's running water and the shower is really good! We were subject to a storm while there but it was an enjoyable experience from the dry and warm hut :) We are already planning to return!
