Great location, great apartment but limited local amenities

Pros: Stunning location with great views across Mawgan Porth beach. Our apartment (No,2) was on the ground floor and was ideal for our holiday, clean and tidy with everything you might need present and correct. Books, games and DVDs are available if the weather isn't the best and an outdoor table and chairs for al fresco breakfasts.

Cons: Personally, I found the mattress in the main bedroom too soft. The water pressure was very low, which made using the shower quite challenging but I guess there is little that can be done given the hillside location. Not a negative for the accommodation but bear in mind that there are only a couple of nearby options for eating (the Merrymoor Inn is good but often busy so book in advance. The Blue Fish Bar chippy was also good but only open 17.00-20.00) and one small shop, otherwise you have to go into Newquay (about 20 mins). Some delivery services are available, but again most come from Newquay and your food may not be that hot when you get it.

A peaceful few days at a great location.

Pros: A very well appointed apartment with a great view of the bay.

Cons: The weather.

Comfortable and convenient.

Pros: Excellent view. Peaceful, yet central, location. Instantly felt at home. Quality towels and linen. Hot water and warmth on-call.

Cons: Oven had lost most important markings - so using it was guesswork. Rather early (for us) vacate time. Noisy, heavy dining table chairs. No Hangers.

Lovely sea view appartments

Pros: We loved being close to the beach. with a great sea view. The apartment has everything you need. I would definitely return and recommend.

Cons: I would have liked a smart TV so we could watch Netflix etc. The double bed was hard. These are just personal opinions, it really is a lovely apartment. Great value.

Pros: Location location location 2 mins to beach Sw path Clean Plenty of hot water .. warm

Cons: Tin opener useless Vegetable peeler poor Bins locked So could not put them out and nowhere to recycle

Pros: Communication from the host regarding access was easy to understand and the key lock boxes were easy to find.

Relaxing, lovely place and beautiful beach

Pros: Great beach view and access. Loved the local facilities with bbq, pizza ovens, local shop, bars and surfing hire. The place itself was well stocked with everything we needed for a self catered stay. Including access to our own personal lockable shed for boards/wetsuits etc. Comfy beds too. Half way up the hill from the beach - 2mins walk to beach max. Great view (see pics) Good access to Newquay and Padstow via Atlantic coaster bus .

Cons: Some dust behind the bed frames and underneath beds but not a biggie. No smart tv if that matters to you. But not major issue for us. We watched the dvds! Old skool.

Pros: Sea view was amazing and to be able to hear the sea all the time was fantastic. Everything you would need was there in the property even beach items in the shed(not that we used them). Had our own parking space. Close to the pub with good food, local shop and a pitch and putt golf. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

Cons: The only issue we found was the smelly rubbish that was in the outside shed from the last people visiting. The instructions left in the apartment for the rubbish collection was no longer relevant. Personally we don't feel it should be the people renting the apartments responsibility to put it out. A neighbour informed us that the Council no longer collect the rubbish and its a private company that should collect it.

Pros: Location was great, the layout was lovely and parking too... All great!

Cons: No issues we could think of...

Pros: Fantastic location, with off street parking. Great facilities, and everything was clean. Would definitely recommend.
