We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. It was just a shame the weather didn’t play ball

Pros: It was modern and spacious and the owners had thought of everything we might need. (It was also at ‘my’ end of Newquay, as I grew up in Belmont Place)

Absolutely Fabulous! Would recommend and would go again!

Pros: Great location, property was lovely and spacious. High ceilings make the place feel really open. The kitchen was fully fitted with kit which was perfect. Opening the living room windows and listening to the waves was beautiful and calming. Beds were comfy and all towels and linen were super fresh. Absolutely perfect!

Cons: Little bit of dust build up in places like radiators and around the legs of the bed side tables. And we found a bit of grime in the cracks of the sofa between the leather cushions but we just hoovered it out. I am clutching at straws - nothing major and didn’t negatively impact our stay or how we would rate the accommodation.

Wunderbare Tage

Pros: Sehr ruhige Lage hoch auf einem Hügel/Cliff, weite Aussicht Richtung Osten auf Hafen, Stadt und Strand. Sehr geräumige Wohnung, 2 Schlafzimmer mit sehr angenehmen Betten. Zwei Toiletten/Duschen. Küchenausstattung sehr gut und vollständig, und alles picobello sauber. Schmaler Balkon, genügt für 2 Bistrostühlchen und Tischchen. Man kann direkt vom Hauseingang auf den Coast Path gelangen, um die Abendsonne zu genießen, der nächste Supermarkt (S...bury) liegt nur ca. 600 m entfernt, und es gibt jede Menge Einkehrlokale in der Nähe. Für Surfer: Fistral Beach ist nur ca. 1 km entfernt. Fazit: man bekommt fairen Gegenwert für den (nicht geringen) Mietpreis! Last not least: Die Agentur Finest Retreats reagiert sehr rasch, auch wochenends, auf Anfragen, und nach Beanstandung einer von Vorbewohnern beschädigten Bratpfanne lag am nächsten Tag eine neue bereit.

Cons: Nur sehr kleine Abstriche: Der zugehörige Parkplatz ist ziemlich eng und liegt im Hang. Mit längerem Auto, z.B. 5er aus Bayern, riskiert man bei Einfahrt von der Straße, dass der Unterboden auf der Kuppe aufsetzt. Zur Wohnung gelangt man über 23 Stufen, vier recht schmale kurze Treppen über Eck.
