Breathtaking inside and out !

Pros: This property has the wow factor as soon as you cross the threshold. If it’s comfort you’re after - this is it. The master bed is so comfortable and waking up to the view across the harbour is amazing. The host Andre is so helpful with the instructions as well as directions to the property and very informative as to shops, pubs, and restaurants in the village. We would definitely love to stay here again when we revisit Polperro.

Cons: Nothing. Although a few reviews are negative about the uphill walk from the village to the property my wife and I found it quite refreshing after a meal and couple of drinks and we’re in our 60’s !!

Amazing apartment with phenomenal views!

Pros: The views were phenomenal! Waking up in the mornings to the harbour view was very pleasant. The apartment was well equipped and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a lovely treat. Great communication with the owners and we were able to have an earlier arrival time.

Cons: Personal preference would have been a comfier sofa but everything else was spot on!

Fabulous apartment with spectacular views

Pros: Amazing, modern and exceptionally well equipped accommodation with stunning views. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. Having had 5 spinal surgeries, the bed was superb, giving me truly restful nights. Wish we could have stayed longer in this fabulous apartment.

Cons: The steep hill down to the harbour is really hard work if you have knee, hip or back problems and is not suitable for mobility scooters. Make sure you get to stay here whilst you are still fit or you'll miss a wonderful experience!

Pros: The view was exceptional and it was extremely tidy, i will say the host has certainly not held back on spending money on the property where it counts Well done!

We had an incredibly enjoyable stay at Crow's Nest.

Pros: Located on a hillside gave an amazing view of the harbour and village. It was a short walk down to the village where there were shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. If you like to explore on foot, there was a beautiful walk to Talland Bay where you can relax on the beach, swim or kayak. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen and dining area had plenty of equipment to use that was in excellent condition. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious.

Cons: It perhaps would be useful to provide fans in the bedrooms in the summer months as the bedrooms can get hot in the night. Also, in the smaller bedroom, a wardrobe would be useful to store clothes. Wi-Fi connection wasn't the greatest.

Pros: View was amazing. Short walk to village. Steep climb back but we already knew that.

Cons: The only small thing was the appartment felt very cold the first night.

Lovely Christmas stay in polperro

Pros: The property was very spacious and well equipped for a family. The views from the dining room and bedroom of polperro were fantastic. Shower was lovely and powerful and the property was walm and very comfortable. Beds were lovely and big and bedding was good quality with nice mattress. Kitchen was huge and well equipped. Can’t fault the place

Cons: If I was really being picky parking was a bit tight if all 3 apartments had big cars especially when exiting the spaces. I appreciate nothing could be done about that so this is not reflected in the rating. Also It’s quite challenging driving straight out onto the hill and if the weather was in anyway icy, most cars other than 4x4 would struggle. My dad’s car was a small engine car and he barely made it and the weather was mild. Just something to be aware of as any drivers who are not confident on big hills would find this challenging!

Wonderful autumnal break, very comfortable, clean and spacious.

Pros: The house was very clean, spacious, well equipped. Parking place was a bonus. We were extremely comfortable. We contacted the owner about a road closure locally and he was super helpful. The village is very picturesque and the owner kindly recommended places to eat. We loved the coastal paths. Local pub had a great atmosphere and live music. Highly recommend.

Couples weekend away

Pros: A lovely apartment in a lovely location. The views from the windows were absolutely superb. A pair of binoculars are provided so you can see out to sea. The apartment is well stocked and parking space is very close, you can see your car from the apartment lounge.

Cons: The apartment is at the top of a very steep hill, I had to stop a few times on the way up, however did not let that spoil the experience. Sofas could have been a bit more comfy, however no real complaints.
