Perfect location, cottage & village has a great Cornish feel

Pros: Location and style of cottage was fab for a Cornish holiday. Port Issac is great in the eve for food, pub, walks etc

Cons: Booking.com advertised it with parking, which was not the host's fault (they were very apologetic), but parking was 15 mins at £10 a day or 20 mins away for free, both a fair walk up the top of a steep hill on the edge of the village. However, there is New Road Car Park which is closer, flatter and has a scenic cliffside walk with views of Tintagel, and parking for 1 week is £25 via JustPark app (it doesn't mention that on the sign, and worth £4 a day just to have a scenic walk to/from the car each day). Had to wait 5-10 mins a couple of times for a space but otherwise worth it for the easier, scenic walk. Hoover needed de-hairing (not ours, and didn't want to risk taking it apart as very clogged). Windows needed a clean outside.
