Pros: Spacious two-bedroom apartment in the very centre of St Ives! Despite the central location it is very quiet. The apartment is perfectly clean and well equipped with everything one may need. Lucy is very kind and always responds promptly to any request. Check-in and check-out are extremely easy.

Brilliant budget friendly stay in the heart of St Ives

Pros: Excellent location in the centre of St Ives, with everything within easy walking distance. Really easy to find and drop off and unpack at before going to park (you do not need your car here if happy exploring St Ives on foot, which was a real benefit). We travelled with two children (9 and 12) and had a great stay. The flat is really cosy, and was very clean, a lovely place to rest after a day exploring beaches, pubs and shopping. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, but so many amazing restaurants in St Ives we only really used it for breakfast. We would definitely recommend Chapel Street Retreat for a budget stay in a truly brilliant location.

Cons: There was some street noise, and from the flat above, which was to be expected given the location, but it never bothered us - though I think this would be an issue for some. The beds were uncomfortable, especially the double bed in the main bedroom (far too soft) which was really the only drawback for us - but an important one as we didn't get great sleep.

Our perfect pre Christmas stay

Pros: We loved Chapel Street Retreat! It had everything we needed for our family break. It was festively decorated which made us feel at home. A great location, walking distance to everything, we particularly loved an early morning visit to Yallah Coffee and Mount Zion. Lucy was fantastic in helping us with all of our enquiries and kindly posting our son's favourite jacket that we left behind.

Pros: Lovely place to stay, very cosy and clean, amazing location, host was very responsive and accommodating, everything we need was available at the property. We had a great pre Christmas stay. Would definitely come again great value too.

Lovely apartment in great spot.

Pros: Loved everything about this property, location is amazing on a level and really easy access to the main streets and all beaches. No parking but that’s everywhere in st ives so no complaints there! Host is so reachable literally instant! Really clean, will deffo go back and recommend. Thank you Lucy ❤️

Pros: Amazing flat in the centre of st Ives. Very comfortable and well decorated with everything youd need. Perfect place to stay in st Ives

Cons: Parking is up the hill a little way away but can quickly drop off bags and don’t need the car while you’re there.

Convenient location, beautiful property, great host

Pros: Great location. Short walk from the train station. And a short walk to the beach. Loads of cafes nearby. Beautiful property. Love the little touches of colour. Super accommodating host. Pleasant and quick to reply to any questions. Enough amenities for a short stay. Would I stay here again? Of course yes!
