Hotel with splendid views of Widemouth Bay

Pros: Location. Room 10, although not en-suite, had a splendid view of Widemouth Bay. Breakfast was a good start to the day, especially with fresh berry selection, and a cafeteria of coffee, with breakfast room views of the bay.

Cons: Room 10 required change of mattress, with prominent springs. The shower head fitting was incorrect with the head falling off it.

Amazing location with super facilities and staff

Pros: Location amazing, wonderful view. Peaceful and relaxed. The staff were super friendly and the facilities had everything we needed with a great laid back vibe. Great base to surf or have lessons, staff very knowledgable teachers and about local area.

Cons: Only small complaint was didn’t sleep very well due to mattress and poor pillows sorry!

Perfect location and friendly staff

Pros: We loved everything, especially the location with a breathtaking view of the ocean and the kind, friendly welcome, we felt at home. Thanks to the kind, pleasant woman who served us breakfast every morning and had a nice chat. We enjoyed every moment❤️

Great hotel to escape from the city noise and enjoy the ocean.

Pros: The hotel is situated in a picturesque location, at the top of a hill, overlooking the ocean. It offers an incredible view, the sound of the ocean, and a sea breeze. The room was exactly as in the photograph: clean, spacious, with a pleasant scent, an ocean view, a comfortable bed, and a hot shower. Very lovely, helpful staff. Freshly made English breakfast, fruits, oats, and bakery. They have a nice lounge facing the ocean. The scent of the meadow was incredible - grass, dried flowers. Three minutes walk to the ocean. The beach is stony.

Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Of course, the location was spectacular – the views and surroundings couldn’t have been more perfect. But what truly made this accomodation unforgettable was the overwhelming friendliness of the staff. Every single person we met went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their warmth and genuine care created such a special atmosphere that we honestly felt at home from the very first moment. We left with not only great memories but also the feeling that we’ll definitely return. Highly recommended!

Fabulous location, amazing staff and facilities.

Pros: Perfect location overlooking the beach. The communal areas (especially the lounge) were massive and so cosy, and the honesty bar was perfect when we arrived late. The staff were all so friendly and the breakfast was amazing! So much choice!! The garden was beautiful to sit out and watch the sun set and the pub (less than 10 mins walk) up the road was very handy too!

Cons: Quite noisy, we could hear conversations from the room next door and above, and the plumbing was also very noisy.
