Chandler's Lodge B&B

Pros: Amazing breakfast and very helpful, friendly, owners.

A great place to stay

Pros: Rob and Nat are just the nicest people and have us really good recommendations. Spotlessly clean, really well appointed, fantastic breakfast and just a great place to stay

Pros: Room was very clean, spacious, light and airy. The luxury toiletries provided were gorgeous. We loved the green aspects to this B&B such as bespoke ordering breakfast to avoid food waste.

Cons: Nothing.

Very pleasant BnB, modern, clean and with excellent hosts

Pros: The owners were charming and couldn’t do enough to help, including tips on what to see in the area and best places to park. Everything in the property was spotlessly clean and I enjoyed having access to Netflix etc without needing to use my own account. The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were gorgeous. The leaflets and trays in the room were a nice touch too.

Cons: Something that the owners could not do anything about - I found the little town of Camelford rather depressing and there was nowhere nice to eat locally (except a small Nepalese restaurant which made me ill the next day). The BnB did serve dinner but not until 8pm which is too late for me! I did not like the eco friendly toilet roll and its brown colour was off putting and it was not nice to use. It would have been nice to have some cushions for the outdoor wooden furniture. I struggled to find the front door when I first arrived so maybe a “welcome” sign at the front door would be useful.

A Lovely Stay

Pros: The breakfast was lovely and the owner helped us with all the activities we wanted to do in the area. He gave great advice. We found that the room was extremely clean and enjoyed all the extra amenities like coffee, tea, shampoo, etc. We thought the location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Would stay here again.

Pros: Breakfast was good- liked the granary bread, location was good as well

Pros: It is a lovely b&b with a lot of flair and dedicated owners that look very well after their guests, offer great food, and provide lots of useful tips to get the max out of their stay! We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely come back should we ever be in the area again. Thank you Rob and Nat, it was a wonderful stay!

Very clean, comfortable and owners go above and beyond for guests :)

Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. Added extras in room (e.g. hot drinks machine, Netflix on TV etc.) were a special touch. Breakfast was delicious and of a very good quality, with lots of options to choose from. Owners very kind and clearly work very hard to make each guests stay wonderful.

Amazing B&B would definitely recommend

Pros: A very warm welcome from Rob, lovely B&B and the room was lovely and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was amazing especially the pork and herb sausages and cherry tomatoes. Would definitely recommend staying here as a base.

Cons: I would say there is nothing in Camelford itself apart from a pub which was ok and a curry restaurant which was small inside but the food was good.

Cornish break.
