Lovely B&B and a great host
Pros: Chris is a great host, very friendly and we received a very warm welcom on arrival despite being very late due to traffic. Room very nice, breakfast 10/10, highly recommend Spring Cottage and I would 100 % return, thanks Chris for a great stay.

I'm usually wary of hyperbole in reviews, but this one is TRULY exceptional.
Pros: Everything beautifully presented, a combination of attention to detail yet restful simplicity. Breakfast an expertly prepared work of art!

The perfect home from home.
Pros: You couldn't ask for a more lovely place to stay - we were welcomed after a 9 hour journey with tea and scones and felt immediately at home at Chris and David's beautiful cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful, warm and homely and had everything you could need. Breakfast prepared by Chris each morning was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice (incredible pancakes!) and Chris and David are such lovely people and wonderful hosts that we could easily have spent hours chatting with them each day! To top it off, David is a trained massage therapist and I was able to book a last minute massage during our stay. Our stay was genuinely perfect, and we hope to be able to visit again soon!
Cons: Nothing bad to say. You can't help but love this place.

Fantastic B&B to explore Cornwall
Pros: We had one of our best B&B experiences ever. Chris and David are excellent hosts. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean, the location is perfect to explore Cornwall. Very highly recommended!

Hosts perfect,great location,lovely room,breakfast exceptional(ate it before I remembered to 📸 it!)
Pros: Hosts were brilliant from the get go with directions how to find Spring Cottage, on arriving I was warmly greeted with a cup of tea and fresh scones. Chris and David were so welcoming and friendly. I felt at home right away. The room was delightful, clean and warm (which was much appreciated on a cold day). The breakfast was exceptional, cooked and presented perfectly with local produce. I also loved meeting the boys! I can't wait to stay again.

Pros: I couldn’t recommend the property enough, it was a perfect place to explore Cornwall. There was a lot of attention to detail and Chris was a really good host. We looked forward to a cooked breakfast every morning. The room was so comfortable and clean - we will be returning!

Simply perfect, a real hidden gem with a fantastic breakfast!
Pros: This beautiful quaint cottage was perfect for what we wanted, our room had a lovely en-suite and had everything we needed - it was very comfortable and homely. Chris was an exceptional host, and made us feel so at home, his breakfast was fantastic - the pancakes are a must try but the local sausages were also delicious! It was such a pleasure to stay here and we wish we could have stayed for longer! Thank you so much for making this trip so special!

Fantastic for a holiday!
Pros: When travelling for business, my needs are quite minimal. The main things for me are privacy, a comfortable bed, a decent shower and a private space to catch up with work. The location of Spring Cottage, the excellent mattress along with some good blinds on the windows meant a good night's sleep was no problem at all. The bonus was the breakfast - prepared using local produce and cooked to perfection!
Cons: It's a minor thing that's quite specific to my needs. The room didn't really have anywhere private for me to set up my laptop and do some work except on the bed. I could have sat in the sun room, so space was provided but some of my work involves other people's data which I would rather not display in a 'public' space. Call me finicky... probably. As I said, it's minor, but it's the only reason I can't rate my stay as Exceptional. had this not been a business trip with that specific need, it would have been.
