Bankside Bed & Breakfast

Bankside is a perfect base too stay for short breaks, and would go again.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Although traveling alone I had a family room which was very spacious and would make a perfect base for small families. The room was very clean and has its own on-suite shower room. Cannot fault anything about my stay at Bankside.

Pros: Great central location for exploring the local area. Li was a fantastic host and the breakfast was great.

Superb stay in a very well kept villa.

Pros: Mrs Li is a very charming host and makes sure, you have a comfortable stay. The english breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and tidy, the bed the best we had during our week in Cornwall. Very good shower, which is not always standard in Uk, as it seemed. We would definitely come again!

Cons: Accommodation was great, but little choice in St Austell itself for eating out in the evening. We had excellent value meals in the local Wetherspoons, but all the decent restaurants seem to be a short drive away in Charlestown.

Would happily stay again in Li's lovely homely house.

Pros: Good choice for breakfast, comfy clean room and a great position for town, bus and train links. Li was a lovely welcoming host and it was a real pleasure to stay with her.

A lovely stay.

Pros: Li was very attentive and very kind. She works very hard, the room and en suite was very clean, tea, coffee and a jug of water in the room, replaced each day, and a television. Big wardrobe..... Everything you need. John, Li's husband, was really easy to talk to, a very interesting man. The location was central, which was great, wish our stay could have been longer... Breakfast was great by the way.

Cornish gardens short break

Pros: The property is located very close to St Austell Town centre. So I could walk to the restaurant or pub. St Austell brewery is a 15 walk. You can have a full English breakfast and cereal. Li is a lovely host. The ensuite room was quiet. Parking is available at the rear of the house

Wonderful!

Pros: We stayed in The Loft, which is separate from the main house, for a couple of nights. Li, the owner, made us feel very welcome from the moment of arrival until we left. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was lovely. There is plenty to see and do in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Cons: Nothing.

Bankside B&B, St Austell

Pros: Owner/Operator was great! Couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable, I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.
