Riverside Retreats - Steamers Meadow

Fantastic weekend at a truly remarkable venue

Pros: Super warm and cosy, peaceful, clear skies to see the stars at night and enjoy nature in the morning, as well as close to see the Christmas lights on foot. Inside the property literally everything had been anticipated and the kitchen contents and layout were so intuitive. The very secure and well insulated construction made us feel confident leaving our belongings locked up for the day, as well as making for peace and quiet even in heavy rain and wind. Such a relaxing pre-Christmas break and the Christmas decorations were a beautiful touch in this Scandinavian-style haven.

Cons: The intial access driveway off the main road is a little steep if you happen to have a car with a bit of a low suspension so worth being ready to turn in very slowly.

Pros: The property was clean comfy and nice and warm. The site is so well situated being a short drive from the A30 yet so peaceful too. Easy self check in with the key safe and code messaged to us on day of arrival

Cons: Some instructions on how to operate the television would be useful. We couldn’t get any of the three of them to work, they may have been messed up by the previous occupant maybe

It was excellent and we’d definitely be going again and would highly reccomend.

Pros: The property was spotless. Really well equipped and the shower was amazing( really missed it when I got back home). We didn’t want for anything as everything we could have wanted was there.

Pros: We spent 4 days in the Riverside Retreats - Steamers Meadow and it was a very good stay. The cabin is well equipped, quite comfortable and very clean. The toilet / shower is small but it is very well designed and we liked it a lot.

Pros: Communication from host's has been exceptional. Very clean and tidy Has everything you need Nice small quiet site. Perfect for a relaxing break.

Pros: We loved our stay here. The cabin was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and in a perfect location for getting around Cornwall
