Mount Hawke Holiday Bungalows

Pros: Comfortable, cosy and clean bungalows surrounded by a beautiful, secluded garden. Excellent location, close to nice beaches - Porthtowan Beach is the nearest - and other places to explore in Cornwall. The host is very friendly and responsive. Dogs friendly.

So relaxing and quiet close to all beaches with in a 20 minute distance we will definitely be returning

Pros: Value for money and location, the setting is nice and quiet. Track down is bumpy but managed it fine in our small car. Stayed with our 1yo no problems

Nice location, good value

Pros: The bungalow was in a pleasant location and nice and quiet. It was clean and well decorated. It got quite chilly at night and I asked for extra blankets which were given to me. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Cons: I found the electric cooker hard to work out and there was no instructions as to how to get the oven working but after randomly pushing every button it suddenly came to life. Similarly, the heater initially turned on but turned itself off half an hour later and i couldn't work out how to adjust it.

Good value for money

Pros: Lovely location, very quiet and secluded area , if you go by car you can get everywhere from there . 25 min to Newquay. Good for families who don’t like hustle and bustle in big cities xx

Cons: First time we were there 3 years ago and what I noticed is no improvement at all. All is the same even worse. The playground for kids used to have a swing, but today it’s missing and nobody going to fix it. The carpets in our bungalow are dirty and stinky . I think they could done better the kids activities because the most families come with kids and trampoline for example would be benefit xx

Pros: Great well equipped wooden cabin, like home from home. Located in a small space with 7 other cabins. Play area for children and access to walks along the river and to mine ruins. Great oven, fridge, shower everything you need. Towels and linen supplied as well as cleaning items. Great location for exploring local beaches and towns, not far from A30.

Cons: No pubs, club or restaurant close enough to walk to, always had to drive but Porthtowan less than 5 mins by car.

Just fantastic

Pros: The property was beautifully located, just a short drive from Porthtowan beach. It was clean, comfortable and silent; the only thing you could hear were birds and the occasional horse whinny.

A great location with very comfortable, well equiped accommodaion and at a reasonable price.

Pros: This self catering chalet was clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a very quite location. A decent kitchen area with fridge (including an important icebox for those G&T's), kettle, toaster, microwave and conventional oven and hobs. The bathroom/loo was more than adequate, and the shower unit was superb!

Cons: The living room/area had a large rug in front of the three seater couch, which was a lethal trip hazard as it was on a laminated flooring, and very nearly had someone going head over heels when walking across it, so it was removed for the duration of the stay! Only other, \
