Fantastic cottage, Ideal for exploring Cornwall

Pros: Lovely, out of the way, typical Cornish stone cottage, but with the added extra of it's industrial heritage. Lovely garden for us and the dog to enjoy, and the local birds gave an amazing dawn chorus.

Cons: Nothing to dislike personally, but some may find the narrow roads (typical of Cornwall), and track up to the cottage off putting depending on the vehicle used.

A fantastic property, run by a very hospitable host and dog (Fred) in a very quiet, idyllic location

Pros: We loved the location. Out of the way, rural setting. The accommodation was just right for two people and, although Booking.com says one dog welcome, two well behaved spaniels were allowed! (Sykes website allows for 2 dogs). The host and his dog were very welcoming and it was great to chat with him at times during our stay. Lovely to have a decking area to the rear for the late afternoon sun. Ther location was spot on for woodland and beach walks, all within easy distance of the property. Highly recommended as providing a very peaceful stay. Also liked the fact that the host had a stair gate to prevent dogs from wandering upstairs, so no excuses for this rule!

Cons: Hardly easy to rectify (!), but note the bathroom is on the ground floor by the kitchen but the bedroom is upstairs - so did mean if you need the loo in the night, it is downstairs!

we went away for a good holliday and came back after having a great holliday

Pros: the cottage was super quaint aand clean and tidy it was picturesque like a postcard it was clean and tidy it was a home from home it had all you want and it was so quiet

Cons: the only down facter was it was out in the sticks you couldnt go for a walk as the roads in the area are only wwide enough for a car so walking on them is risky but when we saw the cottage we were so pleassed we had booked it

Enjoyable holiday to relax after a difficult 10 months.

Pros: This property is in an excellent location to get to many places around the area and it is very quiet around the place. Robin, the host had kindly left milk, coffee, tea and sugar and there was a vase of beautiful fresh flowers. He was around if needed but left us alone to get on with our holiday, His dog, Fred is super friendly and came to see us regularly. There is an outside decking area to sit and enjoy food and drink when you get back from your travels. There is everything you need at the property.

Cons: I am not great at driving on single track roads however the one leading to this property isn’t used by many people so unlikely to meet another car.
