The Granary

Great liocation for getting around the area.

Pros: Very clean. Very Tidy. Very well equipped. Friendly but non intrusive host.

Cons: There were 2 of us staying, but could have been 4. There were 2 good sized bedrooms both with en suites. Kitchen / living area was very small & it would have been very cramped if there had been 4 of us.

Pros: The cottage was comfortable and well situated for our needs

Cons: The owner was always watching us and made us feel that we had to be out early.

Pros: Excellent, clean, and brilliant location. Lovely stay, great welcome package. Clean facilities with superb transport links. Everything is of the A30 which is a stones throw away and links you to all of Cornwall. The view from the Granary is amazing. The host is the owner and is very accommodating and has excellent knowledge of the local area

A great family holiday week!

Pros: The location was lovely and quiet, yet only a few minutes from the major roads. Central to everything in Cornwall, with Land's End only 1.5 hours away by road. Everywhere else within an hour's drive. We had a blissful week there, and Norm was a friendly, welcoming host. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely welcoming pack. Facilities includes a well equipped kitchen, including a washing machine, clothes airer and all basic cleaning items to keep us and the cottage clean were provided. We brought our own toiletries and laundry detergent, but that was personal preference. Good sized rooms. Our teenage son loved his own suite upstairs including TV for his Switch, and own shower room.

Pros: The Granary no 1 is 2bed 2bath with an open plan lounge kitchen dining area. It is very well fitted out and there was nothing we needed that was not there during our stay. The location is perfect for days out for all the usual places one would want to go to in Cornwall. Bodmin is only 2 miles away and it was possible to go to Bodmin on a back lane, which avoided having to cross over the main A30. Norman the owner lives next door and is a fountain of information.

Pros: Norman our host was there to give a warm welcome upon arrival. A bottle of bubbles, scones, Strawberry Jam & clotted cream in the cottage was delicious. So comfortable we extended our stay. Thank you Norman for all the info & suggestions regards local environs look forward to returning.
