Lovely property set in a very quiet area peaceful location central for day trips in Cornwall

Pros: This lovely property was situated in a quiet location which was close to Bodmin and central to all of the day trips that we had planned. The host supplied us with a great ‘welcome pack’ which was very much appreciated. The host was also very friendly and also helpful.

Cons: The only negative thing about the property was that whilst the kitchen had sufficient cooking utensils it would have been helpful to have a few extra condiments (cooking oil, salt and pepper etc) and an extra roll of toilet paper in the cupboard, and a larger cleaning cloth and broom to help keep the place tidy. Local travellers can bring pantry items with them but as overseas travellers we were ill equipped.

Pros: Superb holiday home. Everything we wanted. Very clean and in handy central location for north and south coasts. Lovely gift on arrival. Norman was great host and couldn’t do enough to make our stay good. Can’t wait to go back!

Pros: Alles wunderbar, sehr gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Norman, unser Vermieter, wohnt mit auf dem Gelände und hat sich sehr nett um alles gekümmert. Wir haben wenig in der direkten Umgebung unternommen, aber in einer guten Stunde ist man auch im Dartmoor oder beim St. Michaels Mount und in einer guten halben Stunde an der wunderbaren Küste um Newquay.

Cons: Es war alles prima in Ordnung, wenn ich etwas negatives nennen müsste, wäre es die Lage etwas abseits, so dass man für Einkäufe etc. immer ein Auto benötigt, aber uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestört, wir haben die Einkäufe immer auf der Rückfahrt von unseren Unternehmungen erledigt.
