Family relaxing holiday

Pros: The location and facilities were brilliant, we stayed in the old stables which is a great roomy lodge with every amenitie you need for a family holiday. The play barn is a great addition, not just for young kids, either. Table tennis, pool table, and badminton are all free to use. Small bbq kettle (needed a bit of a clean) but fine for our family of 4. Gas BBQ is available to hire. The hosts Richard and Gay were great welcoming, friendly, and very approachable. Highly recommend

Cons: Nothing had a great stay.

Pleasant surprise

Pros: The whole experience was a pleasant surprise. We needed a place to stay for a few days and this came up as available for the days we needed. Richard (the host) was really welcoming and polite. We wasn't expecting anything along the lines of what he has there, we just expected a lodge in a remote location but found a super smart huge converted barn with great parking, fantastic views and everything was really clean, fresh and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Cons: Mattress was a little soft for my liking but that's just me being a bit picky.
