Pros: Property is small but well finished and very cosy. Location is excellent and quiet, with amazing views The hosts were always available if any questions or requests

Cons: Only thing missing was an oven, the size of the kitchen restricts putting in. They do provide a decent air fryer, microwave and hotplate

Peaceful, comfortable stay near a quaint village.

Pros: A charming ‘hut’, which was surprisingly spacious inside, made for a great stay. The friendly owner greeted me at the gate and showed me the property. I was very comfortable and really appreciated the very comfortable bed and the surprisingly large bathroom. I prefer to make some of my own meals when I travel, so the kitchen, though small was great. I arrived tired and hungry, so finding tea, coffee, scones, jam and clotted cream was amazing! Camelford is a lovely village with quite picturesque buildings and an interesting pub with a large beer garden. Thank you so much. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Tranquil. Serene. Perfect!

Pros: Marion welcomed us like we were old friends & was so warm & lovely the whole time. The hut was immaculate & beautifully done with special quirks to enjoy. We looked out over green fields & could not see another house so felt like we were the only people around (which is what we wanted) but only 15 mins walk to the local pub where we spent a wonderful afternoon with locals listening to beautiful live music. Marion’s horse was so sweet & loved a rub & chat. Perfect place to retreat to after hectic days dealing with hordes of tourists in the coastal towns.

Cosy countryside get away!

Pros: Easy to find, remote - just what we were looking for! Tucked away into the picturesque countryside of Cornwall. Marion is a lovely host, everything is well thought out and thorough. There’s everything you’ll require.

A lovely little haven away from it all

Pros: The location was amazing and so peaceful. The shepherds hut had everything we needed and lots of room. It was extremely clean and there were little extra touches that made it even more special.

Lovely hut, excellent location, friendly host

Pros: Very nice quiet location, yet near to shops and other facilities. Lovely view from the property which is very well equipped and furnished. I think a car is essential. Landlady very friendly and helpful, and lives on-site.

Cons: Wi-fi is a bit slow - but then again, it's free! Otherwise this is as near perfect as a shepherd's hut could be.

Pros: The Shepherds hut was very well equipped with everything we needed. The peace, tranquility and lovely view was a welcome bonus.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.
