We had a relaxing few days in Downderry and would return.

Pros: Great location. Beautiful sea views. Good communication from host. Very comfy double bed. Lovely quiet location.

Cons: It was a little cold on arrival and the weather was wet and windy, which didn't help. Much cosier the following day.

Pros: The house had everything we needed for our family weekend away. The view is just amazing! There is plenty of space on the terrace to relax. Lara left the fresh bread and butter, milk, and some biscuits for us, which was a nice little surprise. We will definitely try to visit again.

Fab sea view stay

Pros: The outside space and views of the sea were exceptional and the weather was perfect. The property was warm and we liked the added bonus of a wood stove in living room. The bed was super comfy and the water hot so all good.

Cons: The sofa was a little dated and the Seat cushions dipped when sat on so not great for my bad back. But that was the only fault I found.

Pros: Perfect location. Log fire and very comfortable beds.

Cons: It's not I didn't like, but the windows/blinds had mould on them (main bedroom). Outside decking needed a good jet wash as it was lots of moss on which led it to be very slippy.

Schöne Basis für die Südküste

Pros: schönes älteres haus mit toller terrasse und wunderbarem blick aufs meer. sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, prima herd, spülmaschine und waschmaschine. bequemes Sofa, guter Fernseher. ruhige lage in kleinem Ort mit 2 netten restaurants. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Cons: ein sonnenschutz auf der Terrasse wäre schön, eine der 5 Matratzen war nicht gut. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit im Ort Lebensmittel zu kaufen. Anfahrt von der Landseite extrem schmal (auch für südenglische Verhältnisse extrem eng. Umbedingt über die Küstenstrasse anfahren)
