Fantastic cosy stay in Flushing

Pros: The house is even better than the photos, with a very well equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathroom and comfy beds. We felt instantly at home and very cosy. The location in Flushing is brilliant, we visited the Harbour House on several occasions (highly recommend), plus the close proximity to the shop, playground and the beach was fantastic. We would love to return!

Cons: Very little, it was fantastic! The only very minor feedback would be the addition of a shoe rack for the hallway/dining room, a bread knife, and we couldn’t find a way to turn on the towel radiator in the bathroom but honestly none of these were a problem

Pros: Great location, well equipped has everything you need

Cons: Parking is more than challenging. Couldn’t park outside of the property and had to park some distance away which isn’t great when loading and unloading. The bare plastered walls tend to make it look a bit unfinished which is a shame.

Pros: Great location. Beautiful decor, very comfortable, well equipped. Walking distance to a beach, near lovely village shop . Perfect for a weekend trip with Falmouth only a short drive away.

Warm & welcoming

Pros: Clean, warm & welcoming house. Very lovely village with great pub & locals x

Cons: Quite hard to find a parking space..but locals were very helpful & waved us down when they realised we were looking & helped us!!

Comfy, great location and great value

Pros: Lovely decor, comfy beds, everything we needed. Was very close to two very nice pubs, a lively little shop and the ferry to Falmouth was no more than 100m from the front door.

Cons: Parking can be tricky

Good quality accommodation, well managed.

Pros: We really enjoyed being able to leave the car and walk straight from the door.

Cons: If the house had a view it would be perfect but it's only a stone's throw to the water.

Spacious house in the centre of Flushing

Pros: Situated in the heart of flushing a 2 min walk to the flushing ferry and the Harbour House for breakfast or dinner. Lovely large main bedroom with King bed and plenty of wardrobe space. Bath and separate shower in a gorgeous bathroom. Large entrance hallway and well equipped kitchen. Flushing beach is a 15 min walk up the road. Although the house doesn’t have a view other than the road, a 2 min walk one way brings you to the wall outside the Harbour house with views over the bay and there are picnic tables by the ferry point which are a lovely place to have an evening picnic overlooking the water.

Cons: The skimmed unpainted plaster walls in the lounge made it feel unfinished and a bit dusty. The property was too simply furnished. I know the Scandi vibe is intentional. We were there for a glorious week in May, not sure how cosy it would feel in the winter, although there is a log burner. A few seat cushions for the outside table would be helpful. As others have said, parking can be a problem. Top tip: don’t arrive as the kids are coming out of school as you stand no chance of finding a space. Either come earlier in the day and explore, or park your car by the ferry where there are a few pay and display bays at the far end and move the car later.

Pros: The style of the house was gorgeous. They had everything we needed there for a lovely stay with friends. Location is also perfect.
