Pros: Really great apartment to stay in, very nicely decorated and equipped.

Fabulous Christmas getaway with my husband

Pros: Loved that we were overlooking the Fowey estuary. Lovely decor and quality fittings.

Cons: I hadn’t anticipated there not being a freezer which would have been very useful for all our Christmas food. Also, there was an annoying sporadic motor noise which seemed to come from the other apartment.

Wonderful 4 days in Sandpiper, great as a base to visit Looe and Polperro.

Pros: The views were amazing and location perfect for strolling to the many restaurants in the village.

Cons: Nothing to not like

Exceptional stay in a beautiful apartment overlooking the river.

Pros: The property was in a beautiful location with views over the river from every window and only minutes walking distance from the town centre. It was very tastefully decorated with everything needed to make our stay feel like home from home. It was extremely cosy and even the ambient lighting was pleasant.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Cons: One other review complained that the floors above the apartment were very thin and a lot of noise came from the apartment above. This worrried us quite a bit and we almost did not book this property. I have to counter that review. We had a group of several people in the apartment above, mentioned the issue of the noise to them. The lady kindly said \

Location and accommodation exceptional. Just which may disrupt your peace.

Pros: Location, with views across the estuary, is outstanding. Facilities are modern and the decor top quality. The balcony with views across the water really makes it special.

Cons: We had a couple staying above which sounded like a herd of elephants - so heavy footed. Could hear every sound they made, even his snoring. They would also walk around before 5am which was disturbing. Did spoil our sleep but not our break. It’s our second stay here and the first time no one was above us - bliss! Also no parking but this wasn’t a problem as there’s a car park 5 mins walk.

Pros: Beautiful apartment and amazing views, didn't want to leave!
