Excellent stay and would definitely return.

Pros: Perfect location. Great for dog. Very spacious and homely. Booking experience excellent.

Cons: Struggled a bit turning heating in but got sorted ok.

Amazing Stay in Beattiful Little Cottage

Pros: The photos simply don’t do this cottage justice – it’s very charming in person. Warm and cosy with beautiful grassy gardens that the dogs loved. We will be back for sure.

Great value good location holiday cottage

Pros: Perfect location for relaxing. Conservatories perfect for a good book and a coffee. Central location good for exploring North and South Cornwall. Lovely large garden. Basic but clean and well equipped for the money.

Cons: Beds perhaps benefit from new mattresses

Nostalgic cottage getaway! Card games and calm!

Pros: We found the location fabulous. A 15-20 min drive to everywhere which with 4 kids is great. The gardens are lovely and the house has everything you need for comfort and ease, albeit a little “older” style but that was actually really nostalgic and quaint. I wish there was a little more detail on the page about what is included and isn’t as we got lucky with a few things. We went out and bought a cheap dvd player from Argos as we had brought some movies with us for the kids but absolutely loved no Wi-Fi. We had bought loads of card games which was lucky once we realised there wasn’t anything else. Beds comfy and bedding all nice. Very clean home. Would definitely go back.

Cons: I really think there needs to be a mirror out on the road, we had to turn left every time as too dangerous to pull across, especially with electric cars barely making a sound. Instructions to use the washer/dryer would be good but the oven and dishwasher seemed fairly easy.

Lovely cottage, full of character.

Pros: Okewoon Farm provided us with a charming stay for the bank holiday weekend. In a lovely location and full of character, we were really pleased with the accommodation. The decor could be considered dated to some, but we felt it complemented the cottage perfectly. Everything was clean and tidy and the cottage was well equipped with anything you may need. We did say that the sign outside could do with being a little clearer. We would have missed it if we were arriving at night.

Fantastic location, beautiful green surroundings

Pros: Wonderful relaxing location. Loved the conservatory on the front, great place to read a book rain or shine! Well equipped, fantastic Utility room, really useful for boots and muddy paws. Location is lovely and peaceful but located centrally for easy exploring of North Cornwall. Big lovely gardens. We had a fantastic stay.

Pros: It was a wonderful stay. A very cosy, clean house with everything we needed. Beautiful nature all around. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Pros: Spacious and comfortable in a beautiful location with garden and fields all around. Well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Cons: Smell from oil heating system, but by keeping the door closed to the room with the boiler, it was okay and not a big problem. That said, the heating was very efficent and kept us warm in the cold weather!

Delightful stay!

Pros: It was a pleasure to stay at this large house and the dogs loved the gardens! We thought the 'dated decor' was endearing and very typical of a farmhouse, plus there were touches of luxury here and there with the leather seats. The farm was also very warm and lovely hot showers. The books and leaflets were very handy.

Cons: If we were staying for a week, it would have been lovely to have used the real fire. Also although very low risk of injury to dogs due to the location, a gate either side of the building would stop dogs escaping. But we understand that this is someone's home and they might not want to spoil the look of the place. Just something to consider if guests are staying a while.
