Badgers Sett

We’re already looking at booking it again next year!

Pros: Badgers Sett was fantastic! Clean and spacious enough for a family of three. The beds were comfortable and the owners had left lots of information for us (even the details of the closest GP practice should we need it) which we were very impressed by. We had everything we needed and more for our holiday. There is even an AC unit in the main room, which we thought was fantastic on hot days.

Cons: The shower pressure is very very weak, but the owners explained that as the water comes from a bore hole, there is nothing that can be done about it. It meant that showering was a bit tricky when it came to washing hair after a beach day, but we got used to it quickly and all in all managed fine.

A lovely little cottage

Pros: The interior is very nice. Cottage is well equipped. The view from the kitchen window made sitting at the breakfast bar a lovely place to eat.

Pros: Absolutely everything about this place is amazing the location is perfect for all beaches and the Eden project, you go out for day and come back to peace and tranquility The people who run the place are amazing and could not do enough. Kitchen Absolutely kitted out for everything

Cons: Seriously the only thing I didn't like was packing and leaving, will definitely be booking again this year

Bis auf die Beschreibung des Weges war alles sehr schön.

Pros: Die Unterkunft war hervorragend. Sehr gemütlich, warm und sauber.

Cons: Die Anfahrt war ein Alptraum. Die Adresse wurde vom Navi nicht angenommen. So irrten wir Stunden im Kreis umher, bis uns nach mehreren anrufen per Handy der weg zum Cottage angesagt wurde. Der Weg zum Cottage ist sehr schmal und uneben.

Ruhige Lage, tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten

Pros: Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig und voll ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem und die Eigentümer sehr nett. Die Lage ist hervorragend um von dort aus Cornwall zu entdecken und trotzdem ruhig.

Cons: Die Kommunikation mit dem vermittelnden Makler (Sykes) ist super schlecht. Man erreicht kaum jemanden persönlich und wenn, dann meldet sich derjenige nicht zurück. Die Eigentümer hingegen sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Pros: Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns in dieser Unterkunft als Gäste willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft hatte alles was wir brauchten, auch die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr gut. Es war auch großartig, dass man Waschmaschine und Trockner nutzen konnte. Für unsere Bedürfnisse war die Unterkunft perfekt, sie liegt wunderbar ruhig mitten im Grünen. Durch die zentrale Lage konnten wir unsere Ziele in Cornwall gut erreichen.
