Newly Refurbished Beach Lodge

Pros: it was warm and very comfortable and well fitted out.

Cons: Having to park away from the lodge and the steps up made it a little difficult but had it not been raining this issue would not have troubled us.

Lovely weekend away

Pros: Great location, very quiet, about a 5 -10 minute drive into Looe. Lovely views of the sea, Loved the fire, made it cosy in there when the weather wasn’t great outside. Great choice of things to watch on the television. Very comfy bed, great pillows we ended up ordering some pillows for our beds at home as they were so comfortable. The accommodation was spotless also.

Cons: It was just a few little things… Finding it in the dark was a little tricky, it could have done with some lights on a timer to find it a bit better. Also when we arrived it was quite chilly in the lodge so also maybe a heater on a timer also before guests arrive. A washing up bowl would have been handy for the kitchen sink. Only items left in the fridge were 2 bottles of water, luckily we stopped off at the supermarket before so had some of the essentials like milk etc. A gate where the decking area is, our dog is a bit of an explorer so one of us had to stand outside with him at all times where he was pottering around outside. There’s a lot of steps up to the accommodation which wasn’t an issue for us but maybe for others who plan to stay in the future. If you’re using the car park it’s best to get the £20 weekly parking as it works out better than paying the hourly rates.

The communication with the owner was exceptional. She was so helpful and really made our stay enjoyable we very much hop

Stunning location

Pros: Beautifully renovated chalet, comfortable beds and decent shower. Stunning location - you can lie in bed and watch the sea. Just 5 minutes walk from the beach and cafe. Large terrace with comfortable seating. Outdoor bath at the back was quirky. Everything was spotless.

Cons: Got detailed check in instructions minus the actual location of the key box which was tucked away on the backside of the stairs and took a while to locate! The chalet is in the top row up several flights of stairs which is great for the view but not for the less able. Paid parking is in the large central car park although you can unload at the bottom of the steps.

Pros: Fantastic location and property is fitted out to a very high standard, spotlessly clean.

Cons: Steps up to the property are a bit a a pain when carrying luggage, so pack light.

Perfect stay in a beautiful lodge

Pros: This newly refurbished lodge was perfect for our family stay!! We stayed for two nights and it was perfect! The property has been done up and look absolutely stunning, modern, super clean and all details have been thought of!there was no expense spared by the looks of things all the appliances are amazing and amazing quality! The coffee machine is wonderful and the little touches of personalised takeaway coffee cups was brilliant! It’s so amazing that they are dog friendly too as it meant we could stay somewhere lovely with our dog too. The outdoor bath is absolute perfection and was so lovely to sit in on a rainy morning with a coffee.

Cons: The only downside would be all the steps up to the property, however this is being really picky and wouldn’t put us off staying there again! There is nothing the owners can do about this ( and makes the view even better and the view is amazing ) we just found it a little harder with a 14 week old baby going up and down.

It is not a lodge, it is a masterpiece

Luxurious holiday apartment right next to the beach

Pros: Wonderful holiday home, beautifully renovated with every detail thought through. Very tastefully done with quality throughout - felt luxurious, with everything you need and views of the sea! and surrounded by green - with just a few minutes walk to the beach.. look forward to returning for longer than just one night. The outdoor bath was a really nice touch and kitchen v well kitted out . Friendly, kind host too.

Cons: Nothing - it's perfect. Only tip for others; opt for the week long parking ticket unless you want to keep putting money on the meter, we didn't think of that, our bad.

Ideal little family break!!

Pros: The property is perfectly kept and has everything you could need for a get away! The outside bath is a fantastic quirk!! Very accommodating for in providing all we needed for our little girl

Cons: The steps up to the property are a killer, but the view is worth it. Lack of free parking

Pros: Spacious, comfortable, great views, open front, very close to the beach, onsite food and drinks available, good quality fixtures and furniture inside and outside, on the lovely size terrace. Everything we needed was there. Also, very dog friendly.
