Pros: Rupert messaged me well before our check-in date with all the info needed to find the place and check-in. The cottage and seperate utility room had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was in a great location, just a 15 minute drive from Newquay and had plenty of parking, and the area was so peaceful. Genuinely couldn't have wanted anything more, it was perfect, and all at a very reasonable price!

Lovely stay at Bowgie

Pros: The size of the property was perfect for us and our two (medium sized) dogs. The open plan style made it feel really roomy but was also cozy. Both of our dogs loved the little path for our morning and evening walk.

Cons: There are no shops or pubs in walkable distance so you have to drive everywhere. Which was perfect for us but for others this might not work out especially with wanting to drink. The facilities weren’t fab, the kitchen was slightly on the smaller side and the shower either ran boiling or freezing (there is a bath though).

Amazing accommodation.

Pros: The accommodation was very comfortable and had an excellent trail which was useful for the dog. Very clean upon arrival. The bed was so comfortable.

The Bowgie at Trewerry Cottages

Pros: The Bowgie was perfect and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A very picturesque, peaceful location with a beautiful courtyard.

Cons: Water pressure!! Lacked a little storage In The kitchen and a bit sparse on plates and cups, enough for 2 , not enough to run dishwasher!!!

Absolutely great and I would imagine stunning in the Summertime.

Pros: The location was superb. It was very quiet and just what we wanted for the Christmas break. We stay in Cornwall twice a year and have for the last 15 years but this was our first stay here and it did not disappoint. The only thing that I would mention is that the lanes are very narrow around this property so you have to drive cautiously. This fact is also highlighted in the comprehensive pack that the owner provides for this and the others properties he rents out. There is everything you could possibly imagine in this guide to help you about the property and surrounding area. We found this very helpful.

Cons: Not really a moan just some advice for the owner. The kitchen was missing a baking tray but we made do by using the grill tray.
