I would have liked longer, have to save up the pennies to come back

Pros: If only all new build estates were like this, clear roads and vehicles on their own drives, tended landscapes, the owners should be proud.

One of the best if not the best place we have stayed in!

Pros: The house is amazing next to a small river. It is huge and the pictures on here don't justify the size. We loved having an upstairs living room for watching movies and the 2 balconies, upstairs and downstairs are very big so we could all be on them at the same time. The hot tub was used daily. The 4 bedrooms are all good sizes with plenty of space. The jacuzzi in the bathroom is a lot of fun, although be careful how much bubble bath you put in. All of the mod cons in the kitchen, and very clean throughout. The resort that it sits on has a pool that you can book and the wave machine which we used, although can get a little busy. Nice bar and restaurant with a good play park and tennis courts. There is a shop on site which is reasonably priced and we used it quite a bit.

Cons: There was no vacuum cleaner, which I was surprised at, luckily we brought one with us. There was a bit of mold under the patio doors which are an easy clean. Lots of sockets although would have been good to have USB plugs (it is an easy fix by changing the face plate), but we brought plugs so were were ok. Communication unfortunately let the place down. I asked questions on Booking.com, no reply, on what's app, no reply, I called the host twice, no reply, e mail, I did get a response, but on the follow up, no reply. There was a power outage for 2 hours and our neighbours spoke to Queenwood holidays however they didn't answer my call, luckily the neighbours were able to update me. I have stayed at Haven etc sites with better communication than here. When you are paying a premium price, you expect premium service and we just didn't get it. I didn't rate this as a zero as we did get one e mail, but that was really only because the property was so amazing and the issues weren't massive. By the way the lights on the patio are still not working.

Great Break with the family.

Pros: The property was a great size, with spacious rooms and a deck with a hot tub.

Cons: Unfortunately used towels and bedding were left in the utility space, an email was sent to the host, but without reply.

Potential to be excellent but not quite there during our stay

Pros: Good location close to A39. Accommodation was well built ( storm Ciaron passed by). Excellent cleanliness on arrival. Space for us to spread out and space for us to enjoy being together. Hot tub and \

Cons: Kitchen equipment was limited. e.g. 8 mugs for 6 people inadequate. No pasta/ curry bowls available. Washing up liquid useless. We reported several lights not working including one in laundry. These were not replaced during our stay, although a hairdryer and extra cutlery were. If I am paying £2k+ I don't think it unreasonable to expect loo paper that doesn't disintegrate when you try to use it!
