7 Porth Valley Cottage's

Pros: Beautiful stay, very clean. Very warm. Love the facilities available in house. Location is great also. Would love to return!

Cons: Due to the weather the pathway to and from the accommodation was flooded every day. We arrived at dark due to it being winter and found it very difficult to locate originally. Much needed of better signage and also a way other than the small step stones to make way to and from accommodation please.

Pros: Lovely place to stay, has everything you need and the enclosed private garden is great especially if your taking your dog with you.. Great location and the local beach, cafe and pub is about a 20 min walk up the hill. Would recommend if your looking to stay in a clean, well equiped dog friendly home.

Cons: Perhaps some solar lights along the path to car park would be helpful. We used torch on our phones to see a bit better.

Delightful place to stay to enjoy the area of Newquay

Pros: Nice size for the two of us plus a large GSD, liked the open plan living room and kitchen, nice to have a breakfast bar, loved the TV set up, used the larger bedroom, nice size, plenty of storage for the clothes, found bed comfortable. Bathroom with electric shower, everything worked. The enclosed garden with Dorset Flint and grass was excellent for the dog. Wasn’t sure on the recycling policy, maybe some information would be good. Take out microwave, replace with air fryer

Cons: The pathway to the property is somewhat uneven and flooded in places. Front door lock needs adjustment to make locking easier

Lovely time had!

Pros: Lovely and secluded with secure garden for dogs, so could completely relax! Spacious inside, lovely decor and very clean. Host very attentive, gifts left for us and felt extremely welcoming.

Perfect family get away

Pros: We loved everything about this place, the attention to detail was amazing, everything was close by! The surroundings were so quiet! They had toys for children. Everything was perfect!

Pros: The whole place is very well set out for anybody. Certainly has to be the best accomadation i have ever stopped in self catering couldnt fault it in anyway.

Pros: Everything was really clean & comfortable. The welcome basket was excellent - really showcased local produce. Nothing to fault.

Comfortable house in a good location, friendly and helpful hosts and locals.

Pros: The house was lovely and comfortable, it was well appointed and the hosts left lots of delicious goodies for us. The hosts were very communicative and answered any questions quickly and helpfully. The residents around the house were very friendly and helpful making us feel welcome. The location is good for exploring Cornwall and for swimming at Porth Beach or surfing at Watergate bay.

Cons: Through no fault of the hosts, the internet was down for the first half of the stay, there is limited mobile signal at the house. The house is a great location for exploring further, Cornwall, it is not so handy if you want to take advantage of Newquay’s more traditional amenities as driving is necessary to and from, walking is unfeasible.

Pros: It was very clean and had all you might need while staying there plus it was dog friendly

Cons: It was slightly damp on arrival
