A lovely cottage in the most beautiful part of Cornwall

Pros: The decor. I LOVE interior design and loved the interior of this cottage. It’s stunning and so quirky. The colours used complimented each other so well. Was done really lovely! The character of the property was stunning. From the uneven floorboards, to the banisters, simply beautiful. Having stayed at several properties in Polperro, to have a bath (and a stunning one at that) was fabulous! (Has a shower too) We loved this cottage!

Cons: Not so much ‘didn’t like’, I travelled with my mother in law, I didn’t realise how many stairs there are, that said, she coped well and I absolutely loved it! Opening the door and exploring every room was so much fun! Was lovely!

Pros: Location is outstanding with access to all the history and quaintness of Polperro

Fabulous stay, will definitely stay again.

Pros: Clean, great location and facilities, comfy beds and friendly hosts.

Cons: Nothing.

The price we paid made this a bargain for such a central location in Polperro.

Pros: Much lower price than other properties we were considering. Central Polperro location. Quirky lay-out over 4 floors. Felt like a traditional fisherman’s cottage, complete with uneven floors. I expected it to be cold (in late Oct) but it wasn’t. Parking space provided (a good walk away in the main car park).

Cons: Yes, a few minor dislikes but it would be unreasonable to not expect a few at this price. (Most rooms had no view, parking a long walk away, hot water very hot and not easy to mix…)

Pros: Lovely clean presented property. Great location, and great communication from the owner.

Cons: Nothing, it was lovely. Worth mentioning it was quirky with low ceilings with kitchen on the lowest floor and living room on the top floor but I think this added to the character of the property.

Superb break in a unique property with great charm. Excellent location with all the amenities.

Pros: Very clean and tidy. All the essential equipment for a great stay. Excellent location. Donna, our contact was very helpful in giving directions and helping us once we arrived- excellent ! Donna even suggested the local pubs for best food and atmosphere- great suggestions.

Cons: Second key in case coupled went on separate walks.

Pros: We had a lovely 4 night stay at this beautiful cottage clean tidy, modern fully fitted kitchen bathroom clean beds.

Pros: Right on the coastal path, perfect location. Very quirky 18th century cottage

Cons: Although shown on photographs was surprised it was over 4 floors with kitchen on bottom floor and living room on top. Bit of a challenge for our tired legs after walking

A really special location

Pros: A gorgeous tiny fisherman’s cottage - recently done up with a lovely kitchen and bathroom - wonky floorboards and real character. A really special location

Cons: The shower wasn’t made for someone above 5 ft 10, but nice and strong and very useable for a few days

Pros: Such a quirky and characterful cottage. Tastefully decorated and very homely.
