A real find
Pros: Really tastefully decorated to a high standard but retaining local charm
Cons: Access is a bit tricky but the agents helped and it was worth it for the location

A beautiful retreat in the heart of historic Port Isaac with good access to the coast.
Pros: Beautiful and quiet cottage right in the heart of Port Isaac, very comfy with plenty of room for a family of 5 plus dog. We were just round the corner from coffee shops, restaurants and the harbour and loved being able to walk out along the coast path without needing to drive anywhere.
Cons: The parking for the cottage is a 7 minute walk away, at the top of the hill, down some very quaint alleyways. This wasn't too bad and given the challenges with parking in Port Isaac, having a dedicated spot (and garage) for parking was a plus point. However, dropping off and picking up luggage at the beginning and the end was a small challenge. When arriving, we just carried everything (downhill) and on the return we managed to get the car through the narrow streets to load up outside the cottage. So not too big an issue but something to be aware of. Also, there is just a small range cooker in the cottage with oven and hob all set to 180 degrees - a bit low for general cooking, so meals took longer to prepare than planned! It's nice for warming up against after coming out of the sea though.

Altogether a great week and would definitely book through hosts again.
Pros: The cottage is located in the heart of Port Isaac meaning that all restaurants, bars and shops are within 2 minutes walk of the property. The cottage was clean and cosy, tucked away out of the gaze of the numerous visitors to the village.
Cons: I am being really picky but the walk to the top of the village to get to the car everyday, which was parked in a old garage at the hosts request, became a bit boring after a couple of days. It is however one of the downfalls of being in a small village with limited access for vehicles.

It was wonderful! Wish we could stay longer
Pros: Location, it was an excellent size for 4 individuals, it felt very homey, very lovely home. Special thanks to Debbie and Athena, they couldnβt be nicer.
Cons: The hall bathroom could use some hooks for towels. One of the twin bed rooms could use a nightstand by the bed.

Lovely cottage with ample space for 6 people!
Pros: The house was comfortable, great size for six people. Had plenty of glassware and crockery. Bedrooms were good size. Sofa in the lounge was great for all 6 of us to relax on an evening. Beautifully decorated cottage vibe.
Cons: The showers were a bit hit or miss in temperature, bring your own toilet paper as there was only 2 rolls for 3 nights, could have been useful to have a picture of the outside space in advance. Pictures to show 2 singles beds in separate rooms would have been useful, thought it was a twin room.
